Specific courses for puppies aged 12-20 weeks (Puppy School) and Beginners classes for puppies and young dogs who need basic training but are just that little bit too old for Puppy School. Completion of either of these courses (or equivalent) qualifies the dog/puppy for Puppy University, a follow on course to further develop their training. Only kind, reward based methods used, there is no yanking of leads or harsh vocal commands in our classes

We have gull chicks again at the hall 🐣 These little ones may soon be toddling round the car park so please be extra careful when arriving & leaving and ensure your dogs & puppies don't scare them - the parents can be very protective! 🥰🐾🐾

🌟 Congratulations to Millie who completed her Puppy School at Home course yesterday. She's a very lively puppy and yet showed amazing focus on mum. She looks very at home in the field which is great as mum has plans to work her as a gundog when she grows up. We'll done both of you, a great partnership! 😊🐾🐾🎓

🌟 Rosie joined our Tuesday Puppy School class last night, she's so gently confident and did really well. She soon made friends with the other puppies 😊🐾🐾

🌟 A great big Puppy School Denbighshire welcome to Mali who joined our Puppy School course last Sunday (but my photo wasn't really good enough). Even though she started later than her classmates she's caught up really well! She also has the honour of being my very first Airedale Puppy! 😊🐾🐾

The course is ideal for dogs who would benefit from basic training or are looking to refresh on the basics.

Six week course for dogs aged 5 months and over.
We will work towards the standards required by APDT awards at Foundation level. Full details of exercises and criteria will be provided to ensure you have all the information you need if you'd like to be assessed.

Congratulations to Twm who recently completed his Puppy School at Home course. A very lively little lad so it was better for Mum to send me a photo later. That's when I noticed I'd given him a SuperPup rosette instead of Puppy School! Anyway he can keep it even though he hasn't done the SuperPup course yet he's still a super pup! 😁🐾🐾🎓

It was lovely to meet Twm and his family yesterday. His mum works shifts and couldn't get to regular classes so opted for Puppy School at Home at days and times to suit.
We had agood chat about his routine, food, sleep etc. then started with some basics like getting his attention, positions and the all important recall. After all the brain work he was ready to start learning to settle which he did brilliantly. Looking forward to seeing you next time 🙂🐾🐾
