Not often I have time to massage my own horse! Cash is showing lots of releasing by yawning, chewing and blinking tightly. Think he will sleep well tonight! He will have a day off then see if I have a well oiled machine on Wednesday 🤞🏻.

Hi all

I know there are a lot of new people on here so I thought I'd give a re-introduction to myself.

I'm a qualified equine sports massage practitioner, I work alongside your vet as well as independently.

As the time for riding more is approaching, not only the light nights and the weather but eventing season is already underway. If you want to give your horse an M.O.T now is the time!

My massage is tailored to the horse, not the discipline. Whether it be a stiff 25 year old who needs an all over massage for comfort and mobility, or a backer that's using muscles for the first time and just needs some relief.

Also let’s not forget the competition horse!

****Benefits of massage include******

🐎 More range, elasticity in movement

🐎 Find the sore spots and areas with tension before they become a problem.

🐎 Massage also assists with relaxation, blood circulation, helping healing and regeneration of new blood cells and tissue if damaged eg by a kick.

🐎 Muscle stimulation

🐎Muscle tone

🐎 Improves the coat and skin condition

🐎stress reliever

🐎pain relief

🐎helps the immune system

I always start with a full work up with your horse to make sure that they are 1: sound for the the massage and 2: that I can spot any weakness within the horses way of going to indicate tension in certain areas. Stretch exercises are given as part of my follow up ethos as they do work wonders for flexibility. No-one can do the splits without practicing!

For Arpil only I'm offering a £40 for a full assessment and hour long massage. Stretches and recommended exercise given.
