Rory’s been coming to us for almost 3 years now and he’s one of the few dogs we have who enjoy being blow dried 😂😇 I had to insert a video I found where he is just chilling while he’s being dried 🧡

Saturdays pups!!

We had a bit of a crazy Saturday with all the flooding, a few of our pups weren’t able to get to us so it was a bit more quiet than usual. But that meant the pups we did had had extra pampering 😊

Happy Monday!!!

Last Fridays Doggies 🥰 we had a few new faces on Friday! We love all our regulars, it’s so lovely watching them come out of their shell❤️ the first two photos Daisy and Ziggy we’ve groomed since tiny pups! And Ivy and Bella have been with us since we first opened!!! Dot used to be really scared to come in and now she is a lot more comfortable while on the table which is so lovely to see 💚

- Murphy the cavapoo came for his first time to Paws ‘n’ Claws and did amazing 🤩

- Winnie came for her first puppy groom and was so calm, unless there was a treat and then it was extreme excitement 😂💚

- Ace the Border Collie came for his first ever grooming experience and was an absolute star, his parents have got him so used to being groomed at home you would’ve thought he was a pro😇

Lovely Murphy came in for this first groom with us yesterday at Paws ‘n’ Claws. His mum said he was quite anxious with grooming but he did so well with everything and we can’t wait for him to come see us again soon🥰💚

Mabel🥰 she came in with her big brother Hamish for her first ever deshed.

Hamish had been with us since the start of the year and is a pro for being groomed. But Mabel seemed to enjoy her groom as well, maybe even more than her brother 😇

Some of the cuteness we had in the salon today!

As well as a photo we had to include of Roxie needing a cuddle during her first ever groom😂🥰

Big boy transformation for Bruce - he came for his first handstrip yesterday and was a very good boy.

He had 2 puppy grooms before which is super beneficial to do before his first adult groom and here’s why:
- Puppy grooms help desensitise puppies to all the sounds, smells and experiences that come with grooming💧
- Creating positive experiences with grooming from the go make sure that dogs aren’t too stressed with the grooming process. 😇
- It’s a great way to socialise your dog with new people in new places in a safe controlled environment 🐶
- A full groom typically lasts 1 1/2 - 2 hours whereas a puppy groom is 45 mins so the more preparation being in the salon and on the table the better ⏱️

We usually recommend at least 2 puppy grooms before an adult groom if possible! 💚

Bertie tucking into his mini Ostrich Gobstopper. As you guys might know, he has been on crate rest for almost 4 weeks now after his injury, we are trying to keep him entertained in anyway we can. Which with a 7 month old puppy is not easy 😂😭 I wish we got these in at the start of his crate rest as he absolutely loves them and they are super low fat so I don’t have to worry about him having too much 😉 There is also a larger size of these in store and online too for the medium/large breeds 💜
