Progress looks different to every dog!
Koda 8 weeks ago had no feeling in her hindlimbs during those 8 weeks we have worked really hard on gaining some form of strength and proprioception (feeling and awareness) back into her hind-limbs. Today koda took her first efforts at moving her hind-limbs on her own in the treadmill 🤩 this is a HUGE achievement we’re super proud of Koda 🥰
Each of your dogs during rehab will have different goals and aims, one that may seem big to one dog may seem small to another however each improvement made is a BIG achievement and should be acknowledged as a win❤️

The power of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy! It’s amazing what a combination of physio and hydro can do to aid recovery from some pretty life changing circumstances for our adored pets. #support #caninehydrotherapy #caninerecovery #mansbestfriend
Welcome to Milo, our first day stay patient. #caninerehabilitation #caninerehabtherapist #dogdaycare
Super proud of Daisy. She has made a remarkable recovery from spinal surgery for intervertebral disc disease…
Now she can walk, it’s about preservation to keep her strong to limit the chances of any further damage or deterioration.
Top job to Phil and Sharon for such dedication to their fur baby #caninerehabilitation #dachshundappreciation
Now thhiis is Herbie!! He has a lot to say for himself! Just weeks post op, this little man has enough get up and go for all Dachshunds! Nothing holding this chap back!
Meet Daisy!!… what a character! She is a real cheeky lass, and was
very particular on her treats.
She now loves our fishy kibbles…
I am going shopping for new treats, so, please if you will, share with us what your dogs favourite treats would be ?? #canine #dogtreat #dogtreats
Meet the amazing Bonnie. It’s fair to say that bulldogs take a little convincing that being in water is ok. This brilliant lady is now doing amazing! Bonnie is post spinal op, and along with hydro and her totally dedicated owner, she has made remarkable progress #bulldogs #bulldogscanlikewater #spinalrehab #caninehydrotherapy
Meet Nuka, an absolute sweetie. You can see from his film how moving in water really increases leg action through increased joint flexion and extension. The reduced forces on the joints, created through the water level help to provide a more comfortable exercise experience, giving the opportunity to improve muscle tone and mass. This in term helps to improve gait quality, helping to regain confidence to exercise on land. #dogrehabilitation #dogrehabilitationcentre #dogrehabilitationtherapy
This is Pippin, a 12 year old Beagle, 8 weeks post op for spinal decompression. She started with home physio visits from us until she could come for hydro. As you can see, she has made amazing progress and exceeded her vets expectations. Well done to her owners for their total dedication to Pippins rehab.

Part of being a physio is learning to manage whatever you have in front of you! So sometimes you have to train your patients house mate so she can show him what to do when he gets home 🤣. Here the super Franc is learning his sit to stand with help from Rudy. #pet #the #pettherapy #pettherapy #animalphysiotherapy #pettherapyrooms
Today was the very proud day that we dropped Whitney, our Guide Dog puppy, off to Redbridge and into the hands of Sangie, her trainer. From here she will progress through 16-20 weeks of intense training on how to be a Guide. The following photos are just a few that have tracked her progress from 7 weeks to 16 months. In that time she starred on TV, visited Stansted Airport (air side), went to pubs, rugby, running races, village fetes, coffee shops, supermarkets, hairdressers, GP surgeries. She traveled in cars, buses, trains and tubes. She has navigated lifts and stairs and so much more… we are very sad to see her go but immensely proud of what she has achieved. Guide Dogs make such a significant difference to blind people and we are proud to have had the opportunity to be a tiny part of Guide Dogs ❤️
