It’s good to be back and straight back into it with our gorgeous regular walk faces and 1:1s 🐾 Today’s superstar mention goes to the lovely Frankie who is smashing her loose lead walking so far. Frankie is one of three household dogs we are working with, making sure all get opportunities to practice the trickier skills solo before bringing them all together. Safe to say they are doing amazing so far, well done! 👏🤩

We’re back and have enjoyed a day catching up with our own boys! Classes will still be going ahead this evening and all other services will resume as normal tomorrow! We cannot wait to see you all! 🐾

Thank you all for being so understanding with the delayed responses whilst away. With the formula 1 and making the most of this amazing country when we are not at the track, our days are long and having time to do emails is not easy. We are however returning tomorrow evening so all responses will be sent Tuesday. For now, kom op supermax 🦁🧡🇳🇱

And that’s a wrap for this week! You have all kept me super busy this week with another 4 lovely 1:1 dogs in today! (And I didn’t get photos of any! 😭🙈) Despite being ready for bed I cannot thank you all enough, I feel so privileged to be chosen to work with the lovely families and dogs I do and there is nothing quite as rewarding as seeing the progress you are all making, HUGE well done 👏 Now for a very rare full weekend off with my own boys, I hope you all have a good one. What a day!! It’s been chocker with 3 1:1 sessions and 4 dog walks! 🐾 All are doing absolutely amazing and I am so proud of the progress that continues to be made each week! 🤩 Special mention tonight to the lovely Freddie and his mum who faced a tricky session but did amazing at their lead walking and handling unexpected external factors! 👏

I often say that the best kind of training, doesn’t feel like training. I very rarely put aside an hour to do pure training with my dogs, instead I capture the good moments and incorporate training into our daily lives. This morning was no exception.

For Spooky this morning he just thought he had the best walk round Pontefract Racecourse, for me, we spent the first half walking calmly on a lead passed people, joggers and dogs, the second half he spent time off lead and we had so many moments capturing recall and voluntary check ins!

Remember, our dogs never stop learning, continuous feed back is key to help shape those desired behaviours to become the new normal. lets start to make training easier for us, and easier for the dogs 🐾

It’s been full of puppy fever this week and what better way way to end a Friday than welcoming our latest puppy Cookie 😍 She definitely did not help with our puppy broodiness, what a gorgeous little girl and already doing a fabulous job at just 15 weeks old! ❤️

Don’t wait to train loose lead walking in Puppies! 💪 Today I am grateful I took my own advice and started Spooky’s lead walking training as soon as he came home. I am full of cabin fever after two days of not being able to be out and walking however, seen as though my boy is such a little superstar we managed to get out for a little leg stretch and fresh air without the risk of pulling me about! Super proud of just how well this little guy is doing at just 7 months old! ❤️

Sorry we have been sooo quiet on socials recently! Any of my spare time has been taken by our new little arrival and getting started on training and socialisation at such a fundamental age for him. I have planned some content to watch exactly what we have been working on to set him up for the future but here is a little clip of his road manners taken on todays little street walk. He is now a very big 13 weeks old! 🥹🐾

Fabulous Frank 🧡 Although only 5.5 months old the lovely Frank aced his puppy classes and joined our older group early. It’s amazing to see each week, those progressions just keep on coming. Today we upped our lead walking and leave it skill by adding a bowl of yummy treats and a tennis ball as distractions. 🤩 SUPERSTAR PIP!! 🤩 This afternoon we had a lovely catch up with the gorgeous Pip and her mum. It’s been nearly 4 weeks since our last session but with plenty of practice in between we once again upped those distractions and headed out to Pips usual (and very exciting) walk environment.
