I will be on annual leave this week and away with my own doggy on his holiday☀️🌊
Therefore Poe’s pals will be closed for this week.

☀️🌞With the increase in temperatures it is so important to check the weather before walking your dog‼️

As a dog walker my warm weather policy is below:

Once temperatures hit over 20 degrees I will contact all clients due to have their dogs walked to assess what they wish to do. The options are:

🖤Swap your walk for a drop in session instead.
🖤 Have your dogs walked early in the morning or in the evening instead (temperature dependent)
🖤 Cancel your walk and be in credit for 1 walk

✨FRANKIE✨

Frankie is one of my newer clients, she is a lovely mini Dachshund. Frankie was initially quite nervous when we started walking together not really wanting to go too far from her front door😞 however, after a lot of reassurance, patience and lots of cuddles and affection she was a completely different dog and is now running out her front door to get going on our walks!!!

If you’re wondering about hiring a dog walker but have a nervous dog who needs a lot of reassurance get in touch and we can come up with a plan together!🐾

What is included in a ‘meet and greet?’

If you’re wondering what happens at a meet and greet before I take your dog for a walk or dog sit I’ve outlined below what to expect:

1) I get to meet your dog ( the best bit!!) interact with them and get to see them in their home environment. This allows us to see if we’re a good fit for each other and if you’re dog is happy to spend time with me!

2) consent forms, these can all be discussed and looked through during this meeting but all forms must be signed before any walks. This is basic information such as breed, vet details, any reactivness etc. I will also provide you with my insurance details so you can be reassured that your pets are fully covered when with me!

3) I can also walk your dog for a short period (10 mins or so) to see if we are a good fit. This is good if you’re especially worried about your dog pulling etc!

4) Finally getting booked in for your first walk/ dog sit! We can book you in on an ad hoc basis or if you want a regular weekly slot we can do this too!
