Just a reminder of my hot weather policy🌞

My policy is tailored to each dog and all customers have been contacted to discuss what's suitable for your dog but just a reminder 🐶

🚶‍♀️Walks will start earlier and be shorter where appropriate or be evening walks if preferred
⛱️ All dogs being walked will be driven to the closest location where there is access to shade/water
🚗For travelling the car has aircon, plus cool matts and water bowls.
🏡 Home visits will be completed instead of walks for dogs who need letting out during the hottest hours. Paddling pools are always helpful to help keep your dogs cool

Midday dog walking slots🦮

I now only have 1x slot on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday available for midday (between 11-2) dog walks.

These can be for solo or 2-1 dog walks OR for dogs to start with me solo and move into a group in July when I will be opening up spaces on a midday group walk.

These slots are only available to dogs based in Skipton and can be taken in 30, 45 or 60 minute slots.

I also have a couple of evening and Saturday slots available. These are available to Skipton, Embsay, Carleton, Draughton and Bradley.

Dog/Pet sitting FAQs🐕

I get asked a lot of questions about pet sitting and how it works so thought I would tell you a little bit about what I offer🙋‍♀️

What is pet sitting?
Pet sitting is where I come and look after your pets in your own home so they are safe and comfortable in a familiar environment.

How long do you offer?
Pet sitting can vary from a few hours if you want to go out for the day or evening to over night for a few weeks while you go on holiday. I also offer pet pop-ins which could be a goof option if your pets just need checking and feeding rather than an over night stay.

What happens during a pet sit?
It depends on the pet and what we have agreed. Each service is tailored to your pets and their needs. Some customers book just a few hours and I go in and keep their pets company and others book me to stay over night.

An average long term (week long) dog sit I would walk the dog in an evening, sleep over and then again in the morning and feed, play with them etc. I would then leave to do my regular dogs and therefore ask that dogs can be left for at least 4 hours for longer sits. After 4 hours I would return to walk/play with them depending on what is agreed and then the same in the afternoon, I would leave for up to 4 hours and then return to walk them and sleep over again.

Solo and 2-1 dog walking availability🐕

Morning, I have a couple of spaces opened up for solo and 2-1 (same or different household) dog walks as I am now dog walking full time🐶

Solo walks are great for those dogs who need a little more 1-1 time completely tailored to them. The walk location, length and activity is all determined by what your dog needs. Walks can be on or a mix of on and off lead depending on the dog.

2-1 walks are a great way of introducing dogs to walk with another dog and interact with them before they join a group walk or just more suitable if a group might be overwhelming. Dogs are paired up with other dogs carefully to ensure the best walk for them 🐶

We all need a pick me up the Tuesday after a bank holiday so I thought I would introduce our newbie, Russell😍

He is a 9 week old Labrador puppy and his parents have already taught him sit and wait which made getting a good photo easy ❤️

Safe to say Skye had the Friday feeling on her evening walk last night 😅

Scent work with Arlo🐕 One of my favourite things to do with doggies who need a little bit of extra care and attention than just running around a field is scent work as its great for dogs mental stimulation Arlo is a pro at finding treats and I also did some scent work with a catnip scented ball. Next up will be a scent tub and increasing the difficulty of the games now he has built some confidence! #dogwalker #scentwork
