I've been so quiet on the socials recently. I can only really blame real life, busy living it and time just disappears! Busy grooming dogs, running behind the scenes of the Dogsbody groom room, chasing around after young children and generally chasing my tail and feeling like nothing gets done. But here we are, made it to another years end. Thank you to all our customers and friends for another year in business. We love you and your doggies 🐕 😍

WE HAVE SOME NEWS......

After 15 years of Dogsbody being our life Andrew has decided to focus full time on his Joinery business. As many know, Emily has been fab at looking after the shop and has decided to take it on...

So (date to be confirmed) but very soon Emily will be the new owner of DOGSBODY & FRIENDS!! 🥳

I am continuing to run the DOGSBODY GROOM ROOM with Chloe and Emma so you can't get rid of me that easily!

Andrew will be working his last day in the shop tomorrow (1st April) for anyone wanting to call in 😊

My lovely friend Michelle, runs a rehoming charity for dogs and is in need of any beds, bowls, leads you might be wanting rid of.
Also any spare food that your dogs might not like and would be a shame to throw away etc. Please feel free to bring anything to the shop and we will pass it on. Thank you 🙏😘

2022 hasn't been the kindest for me and these lovely lot have had my back no questions asked. It's been a life changing year and I hope 2023 has some happier times waiting.
Thank you to all our fabulous customers for supporting another year of Dogsbody & Friends and for your patience over the past few months.

We are looking into stocking live food again, given the sad new Archway Pet Supplies are closing this Christmas. If like our shop manager Emily, you have reptiles to feed, please call the shop and discuss with her what you would need to order and how often. Hopefully if there is enough interest we will become stockists and save you all a drive out to the super stores!

Unfortunately Chloe was badly bitten on Saturday, the worst I've seen over the years 😔 Resulting in at least a week off work. We wish her a speedy recovery ❤We are trying to fit her cancelled dogs in before Christmas and thanks again for everyones patience.

We are fully booked now until February so please remember to pre book your next appointments to avoid disappointment 😊🙏

This shop means the world to me and the dogs I groom and their owners I'm lucky enough to call friends.
I miss things at school and I palm off poorly kids to grandparents or make them come to work with me when I don't have childcare! All because I don't want to let anyone down. Being self employed is tough, I don't get paid if I don't go to work.

Last monday I had a little 3yr old with a temperature and had to cancel that day of dogs. We are now a week of being hospital bound and still one poorly little boy. I want to thank Chloe and Emma for working extra to cover me and my lovely customers for being so understanding and their kind messages.
Andrew is bossing home life with some help from the best of friends. But we're missing our family and ready to come home soon 🤞❤

I haven't had the right words to post sooner. I'm really quite saddened by the death of Queen Elizabeth II and used the past couple of days to let it soak in.
What ever your views, there is no doubt she was a remarkable woman.
May she rest in peace.

We at the shop and salon will be open as usual until the funeral. Where I think it only right to close for the day. Once we know when that is we will be in touch with any appointments already made and rearrange as necessary.

Anyone who has been to us recently know there are works going on down Victoria st. Up until today it hasn't majorly effected us.
They are now practically outside with diggers etc going up and down. They are very good at accommodating any vehicles so get as near as you can to collect heavy goods but otherwise I highly recommend walking to us where possible.
