The Wonderful World of Dogs has two parks adjacent to each other (with a blackout border in-between). One exercise/training park and one agility park.(Not competition)

Each park is available to hire for -
£10 1 to 4 dogs
£14 5 to 8 dogs
Maximum of 8 dogs at any one time per park

Ideal for business dog walkers! Park hire is subject to Terms and Conditions and availability. The 1 hour hire i

ncludes:
5 minutes to enter, 50 minutes exercise and 5 minutes to leave the grounds. All bookings must be done on website www.thewonderfulworldofdogs.co.uk in advance . A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for any cancellations, to qualify for a refund. You must tick the box when booking to agree that your dog(s) are inoculated. We are situated on Lizard Lane SR6 7NN (next door to Hill Head Cafe). Terms and Conditions for hire of The Wonderful World of Dogs Secure Field
1. Booking Information
1.2 Cancellation Policy – If you arrive late, the booking cannot be extended. Refunds can only be given for cancelled bookings if that space is filled by another customer.
1.3 Bookings are non-transferable. The person making the booking must be present and must ensure that anyone else attending is made aware of and adheres to the Terms and Conditions.
2. Parking
2.1 There is parking for both Exercise Park and Agility Park fields.
2.2 If you choose to park on The Wonderful World of Dogs car park then you do so at your own risk and The Wonderful World of Dogs accept no responsibility for any loss/damages.
2.3 Park near to the field that you are using; Exercise Park Field to the left and Agility Park Field to the right.
3. Maintenance
3.1 Bring your own poo bags and clean up after your dog/s. The Wonderful World of Dogs will provide a poo bin but take all other rubbish home with you.
3.2 The Wonderful World of Dogs Team will inspect the field and fencing daily to maintain security but please notify a member of the Team if you have any concerns.
3.3 During winter months the field will be muddy and waterproof boots will be required.
3.4 Do not allow your dog/s to dig holes, this can be dangerous to other field users. Notify a member of the The Wonderful World of Dogs Team if you see a hole so that it can be filled in.
3.5 On your first visit take the time to inspect the field to ensure that it is suitable for use by your dog/s; fence height, proximity to horses etc.
4. Code of Ethics
4.1 To maintain the professional integrity of The Wonderful World of Dogs, dog trainers working with their clients will only be allowed by prior arrangement.

5. Entering/Leaving the Field
5.1 Ensure that you have read the Terms and Conditions before arriving. If you have booked the field but are meeting friends/family, ensure that they too are familiar with the Terms and Conditions.
5.2 Do not arrive more than 10 minutes before the start of your session, early arrivals can be disruptive to those still on the fields. Once in the car park ensure that your dogs do not cause a distraction to those leaving the field; dogs barking at open windows can be very upsetting for some dogs.
5.3 Stay in your vehicle until the previous users have left the field and have got their dogs into their vehicle.
5.4 Do not enter the field before your allocated time.
5.5 Leave the field promptly at the end of your 50-minute session.
5.6 Keep your dogs on lead until you are in the field.
5.7 If you cannot get your dog’s back at the end of your session notify The Wonderful World of Dogs Any additional sessions used must be paid for.
6. Children
Children are welcome on the field but must be always supervised by an adult at all times. Children MUST NOT climb on the Agility equipment.

As dog lovers we strive for health and happiness to all our customers but our insurance does not cover ANY BANNED BREEDS
We are truly sorry for the owners of these dogs and hope they find a way through this!

We are delighted to be partnering up with The Gavel Lodge to host a Valentines Masquerade Ball at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park Newcastle on Saturday 10th February 2024.

Individual tickets for the event are £45 per person which includes a drinks reception, 4 course meal and complementary port.

VIP/Corporate tables are also available for £800.00 for a table of 10. Included in the package are: 6 bottles of wine, 10 bottles of beer, official sponsorship of the event and a prime location in the room on the evening.

There will be live entertainment and plenty of fundraisers on the evening - all in aid of the shelter.

This message is for our wonderful dog owners who clean up after their dogs and wouldn't dream of leaving any mess behind....a huge thank you from all at The Wonderful World of Dogs 🤗

However i have noticed lately that some who use our parks are NOT picking up their dog mess so as a team we have decided we now need to check the parks after each walk and if any mess is found the perpetrators will be asked not to come back!
I apologise if this seems harsh but it is completely unacceptable to expect other people to clean up your mess!
The parks are going to be revamped in the spring time and we really hope no one has to miss out 😀
