Had the opportunity to get back in the treadmill for this amazing boy at Pet Therapy Rooms. A young Mastiff who already weighs 45kg (and will probably end up being about 80kg) who suffered a spinal incident a few months ago. Owners have worked incredibly hard with all of his rehab and its really starting to pay off.
Another succesful day of data collection for my Phd investigation into injury in canine flyball. Massive thanks to Jeanette Shelley at the BFA for bringing your amazing dogs, and Scott Harrison for supplying the flyball boxes!
Roberta is currently in her native Brazil collaborating on a research project - no doubt she will post more when she gets home, but in the meantime she sent me the video below which was taken during one of their data collection sessions - I think it look stunning 😍
Lunging work after kissing spines surgery
A busy week already this week, with clients big and small. This is one of the larger ones, the wonderful Flo making great progress after her recent kissing spines surgery. I went straight from this appointment to treating my smallest client - a teacup poodle, so never a dull moment!
Met police dog training stretching techniques
Fantastic morning demonstrating practical physiotherapy techniques to handlers and trainers at the Met Police Dog Training Centre. Police dogs and handlers do an amazing job, so it’s really rewarding to be able to work with them, and hopefully assist with working longevity and comfort

A moment of pure joy on our Norway trek. 350km inside the Arctic circle, no sun since November hence why wearing head torches at 4 in the afternoon, and on our way to camp overnight at -20.

Dog sledding in Norway
No better way to understand the biomechanics of sled dogs, than by taking a team of them out for a 2 day trek. Incredible athletes who just want to run..

Don’t normally post about my clients, but this one is a little star. 5 times cancer survivor and an amputee, she absolutely loves her physio (but has to have Mr Unicorn with her too)
