No need to book, open 10am-4pm each day over the Bank Holiday weekend. Lots of lovely point of lay hens, including olive and blue egg layers (until they sell out!) We also have bantams - polish, wyandotte and silkies.

At long last! We are drilling spring crops. After the wettest winter, the sun has appeared and we're finally farming instead of looking at ducks swimming in the fields 😁 Hope you're having a lovely, sunny weekend. We're open today for chickens until 4pm

We'll be open Saturday and Sunday this weekend 10am-4pm both days. We will have a fantastic selection of breeds including some beautiful bantams and all our large breeds including blue, white, olive, dark brown and brown egg layers.

UPDATE due to unforeseen issue with the Coldstore breaking down, we'll be unable to supply any beef this time. Very sorry for any disappointment, hopefully we'll have some more in the autumn

Our new ladies are all now ready to go, we've got some lovely new breeds this year including olive egg layers, lavenders, ambers and tri-coloured leghorns. We're open Saturday and Sunday this weekend 10am - 4pm.

Busy day cleaning, washing and disinfecting the chicken sheds ready for our next batch of birds. Our next batch will be ready from Sunday (17th Sept) and we'll have a lovely mix of breeds including blue egg layers

Opening times this weekend are a little bit shorter as we're busy harvesting at long last! Saturday we're open 10am-12.30pm and Sunday we're open 2pm-4pm. We've still got a great selection of point of lay birds as well as feed, bedding and accessories. Thanks 😊

We’ve got some beautiful point of lay rangers and white leghorns ready to go. Both breeds are fantastic layers laying brown and white eggs.

As we've currently sold out of hybrid chickens (next batch 5th June) here are some cows on a bright Sunday morning. They've moved fields and have lovely lush grass, so tall you can hardly see the new calves. What a wonderful time of year, hope you're having a great Sunday PS we do still have some bantams available

We’ve got some little beauties ready to go at the moment! We’ve got some lovely Silkie, Wyandotte, Polish and Pekin bantams as well as our usual mix of hybrid hens. We’re open this weekend Saturday and Sunday 12-5.30pm and bank holiday Monday 9am-12pm. No need to book just pop up between those times and have a look!

Good news! The housing order has been lifted from today, so you can let your hens have a bit of freedom. Flockdown has been lifted (terrible pun I know)

However, while the housing order has now ended, the Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ), which covers England and Wales, remains in force.
It means that all bird keepers must continue to meet the enhanced biosecurity measures set out in the declaration.
