Part time vet needed to join a cheerful team!

Staverton vets is bursting with lovely clients, an amazing team that looks out for each other, extra large consult rooms, all the usual toys, and a dental x-ray on the way. We are located in a small village, just outside of Daventry, which boasts a wide range of shopping and dining, yet on an excellent road network which gives easy access.

You will be working along side the CD who is a certificate holder in medicine and has 17 years of experience, and a high calibre new grad. Cakes, teas and coffees are always around. There is plenty of time for ops and lunch breaks.

We always strive to leave on time, and nobody gets left behind in the building. You will have excellent work-life balance, with no out of hours, and only 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. 5 weeks plus bank holidays off (pro rata), and your birthday off too!
We will pay your RCVS, BVA and VDS fees.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, RCVS registered vet to join us from October, on 2 to 3 days a week. Some experience is preferred, occasional sole charge and support for our new grad will be needed.

Then this might just be the role for you!

You will be working alongside 2 vets (soon to be 3): the CD who is a certificate holder in medicine and has 17 years of experience, and a high calibre new graduate vet.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, RCVS registered nurse to join us from end of September. The contract will be for 26 hours including weekends, and there is flexibility around this. We do have two student nurses (one which is nearly qualified, in the final stages of her exam), and experience as a clinical supervisor is desirable.

He is not microchipped.

As of the 10th of June, it will become a legal requirement to have your cat microchipped.

For the whole month of May here at Staverton Vets, we will be running a promotional offer of £10 off for microchipping (cats only)

Microchipping is free of charge if you are part of the Pet Health Club.

Cooper was in recently for a digit amputation. He is such a handsome boy and we all agree he was a very brave boy. He is now all better and has been spreading Cooper joy! We hope this puts a smile on your face like it did ours 💚💙
