COVID 19 UPDATE
With the government's planned changes due to come into effect from 16th August we have carefully considered them and decided to implement the following changes
1. We will allow ONE person per appointment to attend inside the surgery with their animal(s)
2. We would kindly ask all clients to continue to wear masks when dealing with our team unless you have official exemption. The front door will continue to be entry controlled so upon arrival please use the intercom to speak to a member of staff and you will be advised if we are ready for you to come into the surgery or if you need to wait outside till the next waiting seat is free
(The intercom is situated to the left of the door, please do not bang on the door or windows)
3. We have put out seating for TWO SEPARATE clients in the waiting room so the next two appointments to be seen can be ready and waiting. Please do try to arrive on time to allow this system to work and we will do our best to run to time.
To exit the surgery press the green button at the right hand side, next to the handle.
4. If waiting for your appointment outside (because the waiting room is full) or to collect medication, please wait near to but directly in front of the door and we will call you on the intercom when we are ready for you to enter the surgery
5. If the weather is bad please feel free to borrow one of our umbrellas or wait in your car & advise us what phone number you can be contacted on. (please keep your phone clear whilst waiting for our call)
6. For those arriving to collect medication please use the intercom, we will get your medication ready then invite you in to collect and pay for it and you will able to pay via card, phone app or cash.
7. Please continue to call, email or use our website to access our services or if collecting pre-ordered medication visit at quieter times of the day between 11am – 4pm
8. Our staff will continue to wear PPE and hand sanitiser will be available at various points throughout the practice
9. PLEASE be patient with our staff and other clients.
We are still working with reduced appointments and staff levels.
This is a new way of providing our service to all of us and we are doing our best to work with challenging times in order to keep our services open to all our registered clients and pets.
Even if just 1 or 2 staff members have to self isolate then this will have a significant impact on our team so the above measures are designed to try and allow owners to attend with their pets as we appreciate this is very important but also to try and continue to keep our team safe and the practice open.
We are very grateful for everyone’s help and support during the past 18months, they have been very challenging times for us all.
