DO YOU RECOGNISE ME? We still have this very friendly stray torishell who was brought into the Woodley practice 7 days ago. We have named her Ethel for the time being, but we are sure somebody is missing her 💔
This guy was the definition of smooshy 😍🥰 (a made up word to describe all of the head bumps and kisses 😂). He was a complete snuggle bug and didn’t stop rolling, rubbing and purring 💕 It was a day of beautiful Cats last week from this rare chocolate/cinnamon British shorthair to Maine Coons, Ragdolls and lots of gorgeous Moggie cats too 😻
A HUGE thank you to everyone who came today ❤️🐾 ALL money raised is going to Cats Protection and Spaniel Aid UK and the total will be confirmed tomorrow 🥳 It was wonderful and here are a few of the before/early pictures! More to follow soon! We hope you had fun🙌🏻

In the right conditions the life cycle of a flea can happen as quickly as 15 days which makes infestations tricky to get on top of. Therefore, prevention is much easier! Our Pet Health Club membership provides year-round cover so you shouldn’t have to deal with adult fleas like this in your pets coat and your house.

🏖 Stay Safe At The Beach ☀️
Poppy the adorable bundle of fluff stole all of our hearts yesterday when she visited the Poynton branch for her spay. It was cuddles all round for everyone and even when she was sleepily recovering she was still happiest having a fuss and sleeping on our nurses. We hope you're doing well Poppy, missing the cuddles already! 💕
Happy World Rat Day!
Rats unfortuantly still have a bit of a bad rep, even pet rats, so we'd like to introduce you to the very sweet Missy. Missy visits us for regular teeth clipping as rats teeth (just like bunnies) can grow very quickly, she's well handled and sits well in the nurses hand during the clipping. Missy even stays for a little cuddle before returning to her very cosy carrier.
It's wrongly assumed rats are unclean when in actuality they groom themselves throughout the day (just look at Missy go!). Rats are super socialable and have great memories, they can even be trained to detect mines in some parts of the world!
In ancient roman times rats where considered to be good luck (although we think we're the lucky ones getting to hang out with Missy) 🐭

SAFETY TIPS FOR WALKING IN THE DARK
When walking your dog in the dark, make sure that both you and your dog are visible to others. For owners, this means avoiding dark clothing and wearing reflective safety gear such as a vest, strap or wristband. There are several options for keeping your dog visible in the dark, such as a reflective dog jacket, collar, lead, harness or even an LED light-up safety necklace. Dogs with darker fur are more difficult to see in the dark. However, even if you have a lighter coloured dog, you should make sure your dog can be seen in the dark.
