Don’t forget about your other pets during the hot weather, here is some information to help your rabbits during the heatwave 🐰☀️

https://www.medivet.co.uk/pet-care/pet-advice/heatstroke-in-rabbits/

It’s important to keep your rabbit cool in warmer weather – this will keep them happy and means there’s less chance of them suffering from heatstroke.

** SEEKING LOVING HOME URGENTLY**
Do you think you could give this lovely lady a loving home?
Her owner has sadly passed away and is desperately seeking a new home.
She is approx 6 years old, spayed and no known health concerns.
She has lived on her own, never lived with dogs. She “plays out” with other cats.

Please contact the surgery directly on 01614321688 if you think you can help.

We have had a deceased cat brought in to the surgery, found in Levenshulme around Clair/woodland Road.
The cat is a female Tabby and is microchipped, but unfortunately the chip is not registered.

If you believe this could be your cat, please contact the surgery directly on 0161 432 1688.

COVID UPDATE – Monday 19th July

We’d like to advise clients that we’ll continue to operate contactless appointments. We recognise that this isn’t what many of you were hoping for, but it’s for the very best of reasons – we want to stay open and be available to care for your pets.

We hope you understand our reasons:
*Covid cases are on the increase, as are isolation requirements for close contacts. If a member of the team contracts Covid or needs to isolate, it will likely affect others and we will not have enough staff to safely open the practice or at the very least our service will be severely disrupted.
*We have vulnerable team members and also some that aren’t fully vaccinated – they’re key members of the team – without them we’ll struggle.
*The risk of infection is increased inside and particularly in the practice where there is limited space for social distancing and not all areas are well ventilated.

Please continue to wear a mask (unless you’re exempt) and we will continue to wear PPE to keep everybody protected. We will review the situation when/if there are changes to the isolation rules and the rate of infection decreases.

We’re all looking forward to welcoming our lovely clients back in and getting back to business as usual. As a team we’re working extremely hard to keep things running smoothly and your understanding and courtesy go a long way in keeping us motivated to carry on.

Finally, please be assured that we’re taking very good care of your pets inside the practice (lots of extra cuddles and a few treats).

Please stay safe.

⚠️NOTICE⚠️COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS⚠️

Please can we ask all clients and any visitors to the surgery to continue to follow all safety measures and restrictions currently in place. Follow any signage and staff instructions.

We understand it may be frustrating that we still have restrictions and safety measures in place, while a majority of the country are relaxing and returning to some normality.

The well-being of our clients and team members is a priority, these measures still help to ensure we can continue to provide care to your beloved fur-babies while remaining as safe as possible.

Thank you so much for your continued support and patience.
