🌿 How smart and amazing are our dogs!…look how talented they are…there is nothing these guys won’t jump on for a photo opportunity…😆

Even when there was only one log to stand on and after I gave them a couple more cues and the hand signal to jump up…I was curious as to what they would do…they actually worked something else out and improvised!!!

Coco jumped on the log and after a couple of goes of all three of them trying to balance on the one log and Coco’s determination to stay on the log..😂 literally at the same time Luna and Archie jumped up and put their front paws on the log!…I was absolutely beaming with pride at how smart they are…like a mum at a school play…😆💜

Give me a few more weeks and I’ll have them washing up for you..🤣💜🐾🌿

Me and the momalou had a great time at Reindeer Lodge…it was so nice to spend some quality time with mum over the last two days because I work so much of the year…if you get chance it’s definitely worth going to the drive through Reindeer Lodge..🎄❤️

We have been really lucky, an ambulance on its way back to Stepping Hill has stopped and taken the the elderly lady to the hospital so she’ll be checked over at A & E…💜

🍁I love Autumn, it’s one of my favourite seasons, such a pretty time of year with all the beautiful colours…

The guys are loving the Autumn weather chasing each other and rolling around in the leaves, they also love kicking them all over the place after they’ve been to the loo so you need to get your timings right with that one…😂 Oh the joys of being a dog walker🤣

A really interesting article about why some dogs tilt their head to the side…🐶

Some of our dogs do the head tilt to one side when I speak to them, give them a command or ask them to do something.
So after reading the article I’ve come to the conclusion that we have some extremely gifted dogs but I already knew that because all of our dogs are smart and clever in their own special unique way, even though some of them are absolutely bonkers…although we do have days where I do wonder sometimes…🤣❤️🐾🌿

🌿 Hi good evening,

Sorry we haven’t posted for a few days…

As we wind down the Home Boarding for the year we have been taking a bit of time out in the evenings, when I say ‘we’ I mean me and the cat😂 to catch up on lots of paperwork, lots of washing and lots of cleaning😬 and to spend some quality time with his Lordship as he’s only eating steamed fish or finely chopped silverside beef and buttered bread of chicken at that moment so I’ve had to clear my evenings to cook for him and lose another seven hours a week of my life in the kitchen that I’ll never get back..🤣

I hope all our pooches are ok tonight with the fireworks…there’s some big boomers going off tonight…I’ll be keeping an extra eye on our hoodlums tomorrow as they can be easily spooked after bonfire weekend…💜

💦 You can’t beat a bit of Wild Water swimming…fully clothed…in the river…at Happy Valley…with one of your dogs..🤣👌

We had quite an eventful walk this afternoon in the Valley…after Dolly Donuts had been for a paddle and a swim in the river she swam over to the highest bit of the bank and was struggling to get out and could only get her head above the water…just as Dolly started to panic I jumped in the river to get her out and it was her jumper that had gotten tangled on the tree roots under the water and was stopping her from getting out…

A lovely guy put his hand out to help us out and just as I was holding Dolly up to him…which was successful I managed to slip on the roots and fell backwards in the river for a full on swim…in front of everyone..👌

Great advert for the business…🤣🤣💦

🐾 How cool are these images I’ve been making for Urban Hounds of me and the dogs…it certainly got the skinny legs right…😂

It does take time and it’s not brilliant with writing but you just need to be patient and have a few goes at it with different backgrounds..😃

The weather has been lovely today so we’ve been to Happy Valley for a couple of hours and Woodford Garden Centre for some Christmas deco’s..🎄

We got our gorgeous boy Flynn coming for his first Home Boarding trial tonight which we are all looking forward too…😃

Good evening,

It’s been lovely to have a rest and take some time out from work to catch up with friends and family and it’s great to be back with all my dogs again…

Although it was nice to be back, today has been one of the hardest days ever since I started my dog walking business 8yrs ago…🥲

I received some devastating news last night…I can’t believe I’m writing this it feels like a dream…our gorgeous, sweet, sassy pants little Peggy, the baby of the family has crossed over to Rainbow Bridge at the tender age of 2yrs old…

Peggy sadly passed away due to a tragic accident. She was just walking along the A6 on the lead with her harness on with her mum.
Peggy saw something across the road, pulled on her lead, slipped her harness and ran out into the busy road…unfortunately she was hit at quite a speed and took her last breath in her mums arms..💔😢

Even just trying to process the thought of never being able to see her or cuddle our sweet little Peggy again and see her running around Mirlees with all her best friends breaks my heart in two. Peggy’s mum is understandably still in shock and absolutely heartbroken, I will always be there for Peggy’s mum and for all my clients in difficult times, I just wish I could do more to ease the pain but the only thing that will really help to heal is time…

Fly high my sweet girl…we miss and love you so much…💜

🍁 Autumn is here!…😃 I love Autumn it’s one of my favourite times of the year…

It’s time to snuggle up with all our boarding dogs, cosy blankets, falling leaves. hot cocoa, and log fires…(you can’t beat YouTubes crackling log fire on the TV if you haven’t got one, very economical to run😆) and hundreds of wet towels round the house with the constant hum of the washing machine going round every evening with wet clothes in it…🤣💦🐾🍁

Good morning…
Moochie had a Grand Mal seizure last night so I need to pop home and check on him a couple of times today which may make us 20 minutes later than our normal walking times…

He’s doing well bless him and recovered quite quickly after the seizure which is reassuring…
he’s eating and drinking and seems well in himself and I’ve got all the dog cams in the house on as well so I can keep an eye him…

It shouldn’t affect our day too much unless he has another one…fingers crossed we will all have a good day…💜🐾

🌿 It was absolutely stunning on our early morning walk on Mirlees today…we saw so many beautiful spiders webs catching the sun…the intricate patterns they make are just incredible to see…🕸️☀️

We have also been bumping into a lovely lady and her 3 Red Fox Labs who has recently moved to Woodsmoor and today I had my gorgeous Red Fox Jordi with me so it was great for them all to finally meet and have a good run together… 💜🐾☀️🕸️

🌿 After 4hrs at Quarry Bank…2hrs swimming (the dog not me I don’t do wild water swimming yet…I might when I start creaking a bit more🤣) 2 coffee’s…a sandwich…treats and an ice cream we are both well and truly pooped…I’m knackered just from eating in this heat…😂

Oscar going to be having a bath at Pets at Home if it’s still open and then homeward bound for a chill..tea and cuddles…fab day..💜🤣🌿🐾

🏡 My boarding dogs crack me up…when I got the hoover out earlier…Tilly legged it….Oscar jumped off the settee onto the dog bed which the cat was sleeping on which sent him up in the air like a trampoline and Clydey who thinks anything in your hand might be food just looked at me like…Can I eat it?’…🤣🏡😂💜
