We appreciate that the next few days may be extremely difficult for XL Bully owners and dog lovers alike.

Legislation comes into force 31st December 2023. If you own an XL Bully, you need to apply for a Certificate of Exemption by 15th January 2024.

Once the new law is passed XL Bully breeds cannot be rehomed. Any dog that was in kennels from November and any future dogs WILL be euthanised.

At Dog Walks and Moar, we have walked many breeds of dogs over the years including XL Bully’s and other large bulldog breeds. We are saddened by the governments decision to ban an entire breed.

We continue to believe that all dog owners and breeders should have a licence to ensure dogs are raised in homes where their needs are met. Dogs are family.

❤️ DAPHNE THE FRIENDSHIP DOG ❤️

Here at Dog Walks and Moar (and our sister company Moar Coaching), we are a family-run business. We are always looking at ways we can give back to the community.

Recently Daphne, our Frenchie, has become a friendship dog. She goes as often as she can with Shauna to see Joan ❤️ it’s lovely to see the impact dogs can have on our lives!

A big Wag welcome to new Friendship Dog Daphne the French Bulldog. Little Daphne will be visiting her new friend Mrs Joan R in her own home in Stockton on Tees with Shauna. Mrs R previously loved her visits from another Wag Team, Friendship Dog Derek and Wendy. Sadly Derek passed away and the baton has now been passed to Daphne. We’re sure this lovely girl will do you proud Derek and she’ll definitely be another very welcome visitor..🐶❤🐶

🐶 XL BULLYS 🐶

In light of the recent press surrounding XL Bully and bully types, we wanted to reassure owners that at Dog Walks & Moar we take on all breeds and are happy to provide any care to XL Bully’s and other bulldog breeds.

We believe there are no bad breeds, only bad breeders and owners. It is these breeders and owners that should be held responsible, not an entire breed of dog. We’ve walked many bully’s and know what lovely dogs they are.

Bella is an adorable 10 year old rescue Staffie X,

We don’t know much about her history but she is very fearful of other dogs which requires her to be muzzled for her own safety.

She absolutely loves her walkies, cuddles and treats! ❤️🐶

⭐️Dottie now has a big-little sister, everyone meet Flo! ⭐️

⭐️ SAD STORY ALERT ⭐️

Flo’s had a horrendous start to life having been used as a puppy making machine, she was rescued by Many Tears Animal Rescue before being destroyed by her ‘breeders’ in Ireland. She gave birth to yet another litter of puppies shortly after being rescued but sadly none of them made it.

Absolutely heartbreaking on first meeting Flo as she is terrified of humans and it’s apparent she’s had little/no interaction with kind and caring people or other dogs.

In just two weeks of Flo joining us on group walks, she’s like a new dog! She loves her walks and her freedom to explore the field with the other dogs, and she’s now super excited when I come to collect her!

Thank you to her new owners for putting in the hard work and giving her the loving home she deserves! I can’t wait to see her thrive in the months to come ❤️
