☀️☀️ WARM WEATHER ☀️☀️

Today we have unfortunately had our first heatstroke dog be treated in our hospital.

Even though it may not seem too hot, please be cautious of Brachycephalic breeds such as bulldogs and mastiffs when out in the sun.

🐾 Dogs should not be kept in cars even for the shortest amount of time
🐾 Encourage them to stay out of direct sunlight
🐾 Provide plenty of fresh water
🐾 Walk your dogs responsibly either early morning or later in the evenings when it is cooler
