It dried up in time for this afternoon’s walk with Dede, our loop involved coming back up the steps under the viaduct - I don’t know who was puffing more at the top, Dede or me 🥵🐶🤣 And she did such a high paw for her biscuit when we got back to the house. 🦴

Damp visit but Rosie didn’t want to stay indoors, she was trying to get two balls in her mouth, chasing the ball and returning it to me and she was quite vocal challenging me to a game of football. 🤣🥰🐶

Another walk on the beach this morning - Duma was reluctant to leave after chasing water trying to eat it and jumping waves. He played in the garden, walked boys home from school (passing the beach, he couldn’t resist having a wistful gaze 🤣) and home for some board games (he was itching to get involved) and some ‘magic’ illusions for his entertainment! 🥰🐶

Hope’s trust in me is growing - she isn’t stopping in her tracks as much anymore and when she does I am patient, she soon decides to set off again! 🥰🐶 This results in us being able to complete a nice long walk.

Duma’s daily update - another romp in the river Carron this morning, followed by a nice long nap then this afternoon we walked using a figure of eight set up to reduce his pulling (with the consent of his owner) with visible results ⭐️⭐️ - this evening he is chilling out with Brooke on the sofa!

Bear was back to his usual cheeky self (he almost flattened me when I went into get him cos he was so pleased to see me 🥰🐶) We had a lovely big loop with lots of sniffing and swaggering! ❤️ He saw a van go past which he thought was his owner and did a 360 turn and was looking as if to say why didn’t she stop to talk to me.

Dede’s Monday walk - she was happy cos the railway path was open again. Sun had some warmth in it - lovely walk appreciated by both of us.

Duma’s Monday :- walked boys to school then went to the beach - had a lovely play in the sea (jumping waves) and this time I stayed dry 🤣👍🏼. Chilled while I was out on a dog walk and a drop in. I keep an eye on ring camera while out and am able to talk to him (first pic I’m asking him to go lie down, second pic was few minutes later and he was asleep). This afternoon we walked to school to collect the boys then back along the beach and he enjoyed another play in the river. This dog loves water 💦🐶. Now settled for evening with occasional play with toys, balls and tugs.

Sunday funday. First pic - as always I check camera just before I get up and here he is sat on the chair attempting to look out the window (seagulls probably woke him up).
Pic 2 - this is ‘his thing’ to do especially when someone needs comes into the room, he brings a ‘gift’ or is he trying to entice a game of tug with you?
Next few pics are from our morning walk up to the war memorial where he went on the longline to have a good sniff around.
Back home to play ball in the garden after a nice long nap - if you zoom in you will see he already has one ball in his mouth, he was trying for two!!! 🥎🥎
Second walk (no pics) around the park and back along the beach (one wet foot for me as Duma fancied a plunge in the sea) 🥴🤣🐶 He loves water!!!! 💦

Mi casa es tu casa!! 😘
Hoping the ‘pupdates’ I share with Duma’s owners are easing any concerns of him not being settled while they are away. He has made himself right at home 🥰
He is settled in the evening and through the night, eating well, enjoying his walks and play in the garden as well as his naps through the day. ❤️

Rainy start to Friday didn’t stop us walking - popped the longline lead on at the harbour to allow Duma to get bit more freedom. He played with the ball, found a giant tug toy (see video in comments) and tried to eat the water 🤦‍♀️
This afternoon we headed to the park, unfortunately he dropped the ball in the stream and it disappeared as he was having so much fun trying to eat the water. 🤦‍♀️🥎
The water fun continued with every puddle he found and there were lots after all the rain 😂
Brooke and Duma have been getting along great and he is a gentleman choosing to squish himself in her bed whilst allowing her to stretch out in his 🤣😂🐶🐶

After a good first nights stay, Duma has enjoyed a couple of walks, a lot of garden play (he amuses himself with the collection of balls) and loads of cuddles, now settled on the sofa beside me for the evening. 🥰🐶

Millie collected all the balls into the little tent today. Owners are teaching drop so I incorporate this into my visit. She is such a lively but cuddly wee fluff ball 🥰🐶

Duma has spent his first day settling in, picking up our grandsons from school, walk along beach path, chasing a ball round the garden and playing with home made tug toys ………and sleeping!!💤
So far so good - he ate up his tea which is a good sign that he is happy here 🥰 He is very photogenic so heads up there will be loads of photo posts over next month

Sunshine and rain (sideways shower 😩) - one minute it was glorious sunshine and next it was absolutely pouring down! Did not dampen Dede’s want to chase the ball 🐶🥎🤣

Duma has arrived - he will be staying for a while and has quickly reacquainted himself with Brooke 🐶🥰 and settled into his lodgings.
He is a lovely almost 11 month old Labrador - full of energy and enthusiasm.

Few of my clients tell me their dogs don’t like the rain - I’m not the biggest fan either but it’s nice to get dried off and warmed up after 🥰🐶

We are starting to understand each other 🥰🐶 - Hope likes to dictate our route - with patience I persuade her to go the way I want. Lovely walk with her today ❤️

Millie is definitely starting to calm down and look for cuddles on my visits. She enjoys playing with the toys and chasing a ball or two and listening to all the noises outside 🥰🐶

Rosie should be tired after today’s visit - fetch and drop game had her running all round the garden. 🥰🐶🥎

Bear was not his usual self out and about so after a loop round back of playing fields, we headed back to the house and into his back garden for some free play off the lead and without his muzzle with the ball and the change in him was instant 🥰🐶 - those 10 minutes were great, he was full of his playful exuberance. ❤️🐶

Puppy visit with Rosie - super excited to see me and we had fun playing in the garden with balls - she didn’t know which to get first (see video in comments). I had taken a tug toy (made from old pair of jeans) and she treated it like treasure, hiding it in her crate.

Last of the pics from Tinkerbelle and Dollies stay with us - after we got up, of course we had to have a nap before heading out for a walk. Brooke continued her tour of her fav walks for the girls, taking in the hedgehog seat at the white bridge, Carron river, up round past the war memorial and back down the new path to the harbour for a quick trot on the sand before heading back to the house. Pretty sure the girls enjoyed their stay with us, my face has never been so clean (they love to lick 🥰🐶🐶) and we hope they will be back to see us soon.
