Working hunter
Courtney and Hillcrest Elf 2nd in the 70cm
Damien and Lisnamulagan Bridget 1st in the 90 and 2nd in the mtr
Both horses were on their toe and in great form 🐎🐎💨💨🫣😂

So I thought I would let u all no about the recent sad news here on the hill, as a lot of all my clients, friends and family have known wizards health had went downhill since October time so I made the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep last Saturday 😢 in my eyes his quality of life was goin to b very poor in the new year and a life in a stable is no life for a horse.
Wizard came here back in 2004 as a 4yo my aunt bought him from Victor as far as I remember, I hunted him a couple of times as a 5yo he had such a good brain never questioned anything just jumped watever u pointed him at! He was a ‘true’ riding school pony took many many beginners and could pop a decent fence for the more advanced rider and done the job for sn amazing 19 years!
Of course to he was Anne’s favourite aswell she loved him so much which made it quite hard to say goodbye, we enjoyed many a hack together him babysitting the younger ones and he gave anne her first xc outing and also her biggest fence in recent years finishing over a 1.10 vertical.
He was pretty odd in his own way 😂 only liked his two field mates but grazed a lot on his own, could have refused to b caught 🙄 didn’t like his mane being pulled 😂 was not very affectionate only if u had treats and wasn’t a big fan of being groomed, but u couldn’t have faulted him at his job he truly was fantastic.
The yard is very quiet at feeding time now and he would have made sure with his loud pitched neigh u didn’t forget about him especially for his meal!
I hope he is up there now with Anne and they r having a whale of a time…..🥰❤️

Guys - if anyone in the tullywhisker area is planning on putting off any fireworks over the wknd etc can u let me no please? I’ve 3 young horses grazing on peacock rd so would rather have them in than mangled through a hedge 👌

What a great annual show yesterday! Superb jumping from everybody 🥰
Great to see new riders competing in there first show and a good few riders moving up classes and also taking on the challenge of the Anne Quinn mini top score

So guys just over a wk to go to our annual show 🥳🥳
Thank u so much to everyone who has sponsored some of the classes ☺️
Up for grabs in the 60 & 70 open classes is an Ash hollow xc voucher for our visitor competitors
For the riding school competitors there is two very special perpetual cups up for grabs 🏆🏆
And not forgetting the mini top score class which is a new class from last year where 1st placed riding school competitor takes home the Anne Quinn memorial shield 🛡️

For the 80 & 90 visitor classes there is prize money up for grabs for 1st - 3rd placings kindly sponsored by Pedro pet foods

And not forgetting the MAXI top score class where there’s £100 for the winner 🥇 kindly sponsored again this year by Wayne swindle
Will Katie long b back to regain her title with the mighty Alistair 🦄🦄
