I'm Becky and I'm a dog groomer in Swindon.

I have been working with dogs for over 17 years at a local boarding kennels. During this time I have developed extensive knowledge on all aspects and behavior of dogs. I started to groom dogs around 6 years ago and this became a strong interest and major focus for me as I developed my career. I have always had a love for dogs and caring for them in the best way possible. Grooming has so many healt

h benefits for dogs, it's not just about how they look. Grooming and caring for a dogs well-being has become a great passion for me. I've worked with many different breeds and dogs with a variety of temperaments! I have found nothing more rewarding that gaining the trust and creating a mutual bond with both nervous and aggressive dogs. This enables them to not only become comfortable with the grooming process but to enjoy it, which in turn brings me a great deal of personal satisfaction. I have passed my City and Guilds level 2 and am thrilled to be based inside the BelMar Pet Services studio in Cheney Manor Swindon.

Norman wins the prize for the hardest doggy to get a photo of 🙈 He came in for his first ever groom today and was really nervous bless him 🥺 He was good as gold and let me do everything that needed doing, except take a photo! He's such a wriggle bum on the floor and was super happy to see his mum and dad at the end of the groom ❤️

What a day 💔

Thank you so much to my lovely customers that have rescheduled their appointments this week ❤️ My darling little Roo has had emergency surgery today and I'm so grateful for everyone that has moved appointments so I can sort her out. She's ok and we're now cuddled up outside in the shade 🥰

When visiting the studio please note that the car park surface is likely to be hot. Where possible please carry your dogs from the car into the buildings corridor.

Walk dogs early in the morning and late at night to avoid the extreme heat. If they need to go out in the day then aim for a shaded location.

Going to be hot this week! I will do everything I can to ensure your doggies stay cool during their upcoming grooms!

Please let me know if your dog is struggling with the heat you wish to postpone!

Please DO NOT walk your dogs to and from the salon as this will increase any risks of overheating!

If your dog is older or does struggle with the heat and you are able to bath your dog at home on the day of their groom so they can dry naturally this could also help! (The groom may not look as good with a coat that has dried naturally but keeping your dogs comfortable in this heat is much more important ❤️)
