THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOME BOARDING AND PET SITTING

I have had lots of requests for home boarding, this is a service I do not offer.

I feel animals are happiest at home with their routines followed.

Home boarding can offer lovely pet hotel accommodation, but it's not home. Boarders often board other dogs at the same time, which is great if your dog is sociable, but not always ideal. Even if the boarder only boards your dog, their home will be full of a great many strange smells, particularly other dogs.

In my experience the least upheaval when their owners are away on holiday is having someone stay with them.

I follow your pets routine, I walk your dog, play with your dog, lots of fuss and belly rubs as required and if your dog sleeps on your bed, then that's how I sleep when I sleep over.
So far the most dogs I have had in bed with me is three.

It can be daunting when you have someone in your home, that's why so much of my work comes from referral and I have so many recommendations on social media.

Thank you so much to my existing clients for this, it really is appreciated.

I meet you and your pets before the sit and again when I pick up the key. With nervous dogs I make several visits before the sit.

A bonus with having someone stop in your home is it looking lived in, curtains and blinds opened, bins put out, plants watered.

I look after all your pets, furry, scaley, gilled, feathered, hairy or shelled for the same price as one pet.

I send lots of pictures and updates on your fur babies if requested.

I'm fully insured and DBS checked for your piece of mind. National Diploma in Animal Care with Distinction and twenty years experience working with animal.

If pet sitting is not for you make sure your home boarder is licensed by the council and that you visit the home.
