Some training last week with fawn who’s just turned a year old. Very simple retrieves but the main point was to get her focusing on my hand signals and what I’m going to ask her to do as she has a tendency to not look at me. Notice on the second retrieve she’s looking at the dummy but I don’t send her until she makes eye contact with me. This teaches her she has to look to me for the signals. It’s important to know there’s no right or wrong way, all dogs are different and Iv trained every one of them differently, learning by my mistakes each time. #workinggundogs #ladiesworkinggundogs #gundogsofinstagram #foxredlabrador #gundogtraining #workinglabrador
