Nelly 💜
I've known Nelly for a couple of months now. I first met Nelly when she had just been rescued by her new owners. She was very wary, she had no confidence and she had lost a lot of her fur.
Fastrward to this week and look at Nelly now! She's a SUPER fluffy teddy bear 🧸 she struts around like she owns the place, she's so confident now that she even tried playing with my own dog Pickle!
You've come such a long way in such a short amount of time. It's amazing to watch! Keep up the good work, Nelly and family, im so proud of you 💜💜

Gorgeous Ginny 🌻
Ginny is a very nervous girl. When she first came in, she was really unsure of everything. Lots of cuddles and reassurance later, Ginny properly came out of her shell! I got all the kisses, all the tail wags! It can be a long road to build a dogs confidence, but we made tremendous progress 🥰 So proud of you Ginny 💜

We would like to kindly ask for your understanding regarding our cancellation and no show policies, especially regarding the cancellation fees.
These policies are in place to protect our business. There isn't anything personal, nor am I being “funny” with anyone. They are a necessary measure we have had to take to safeguard our business (and livelihood) against lost earnings.
I also always have a waiting list of 2-3 weeks. By booking an appointment and just not turning up, you're taking that appointment away from a customer who respects and values our time and business.
As a small, local business we can’t afford to open the salon, pay rent, gas, electricity and wages with people not turning up to their appointments, or without giving 48 hours notice that you won’t be coming. Imagone going to work for someone and they decide an hour before you start work that you won’t be getting paid for your shift, but you have to work anyway. This is the situation we're put in every time someone doesn't turn up or cancels late.
The cancellation fee covers a very small portion of this so we can keep our jobs and keep the salon open!
Anyone who doesn't turn up to their appointment will be charged for the full appointment. This will need to be paid along with a 50% deposit for the next appointment before you can return to us.
Your support is truly appreciated, as always, as we strive to provide the best service possible. Thank you for your understanding! 🐾🐕💜

💥THE IMPORTANCE OF BRUSHING💥 This is why every groomer will say to you, you need to brush your dogs coat daily and have regular grooming appointments. By letting your dog get to this stage, it's neglect. Dogs with long fur MUST be groomed every 6 to 8 weeks (depending on the dog). As groomers, we tell you this as its what's best for your dogs health. I did not train for years and invest so much time and money into becoming a groomer to then be told this is wrong whilst the dog is in this condition. As a professional groomer, if we say 6 weeks, we mean 6 weeks and not 5 months 🤦♀️ I'm so lucky that most of clients are fantastic with coat maintenance, however, there's always one isn't there 🤦♀️
