We’ve been cleaning up some of the horses paddocks so they are ready for winter. We’ve also cut a track around the exterior of our haylage fields that can be used for horse riders and dog walkers. Please respectfully keep to the paths as, at this time of year our fields are used to grow hay. Any dog or horse muck in the hay fields will get baled by the machines and will cause the bale to rot from the inside. A huge loss to us.

Hours/Days: We can be flexible on days and hours

Salary: dependant on experience and hours

Duties include: full livery for customers, turn outs, bring ins, muck outs, hay nets, feeds, exercising in the horse walker etc.

You must have a lot of experience handling different ages, breeds and temperaments of horses.

You must be 100% reliable.

You must be able to communicate clearly and politely with yard owners and customers.

You must have reliable transport to the yard.

Pay varies according to each days duties and customer requirements.

Weekend Groom Vacancy

We require a groom to care for 3/4 horses on a Saturday and Sunday every weekend.

Salary is dependent on age and experience.

You must be age 16+.

Approximate hours are 10am - 2pm.

You must have a lot of experience handling all different types of horses and ponies.
You must have a high standard of stable care duties and be 100% reliable.
Duties will include, turn out and bring in of horses, rugging, mucking out shavings, hay nets, feeds, putting horses on the walker etc.

We will be interviewing immediately for the position to start straight away.
