Alexander Vets Ulverston is a small animal veterinary practice based in the South Lakes region of Cumbria. We are situated in the market town of Ulverston. Our veterinary team is made up of 2 surgeons and 4 qualified nurses. As a training practice, we also have student veterinary nurses undertaking their practical training with us. We see a range of wonderful pets, from Great Danes to Chihuahuas, cheeky moggies to Maine Coones!

Due to a leak within the building we have had to close today. All appointments with myself today have been contacted. We do apologise for the inconvenience. Any medication that has already been pre-ordered the last few days will be dropped off by hand today.

Any Treats or Kong toys that are bought here from Alexander Vets Ulverston over the next 2months, will have the same (or similar) product donated free of charge to: Animal Refuge, Animal Welfare and our Local RSPCA branch.
We already have 3 packets of treats and 1 Kong toy in the "sharing is caring bag" ready to be donated.

Last week Sullivan came in for his PHC 6month check. His brother Gilbert came along for the ride (and loves the vets, I get the best cuddles). Sullivan is happy to stay by his mums side, but lets me do his exam just fine. We are going to work on some social visits 🐶. See you both soon.

What a lovely visit from Nell this morning, who brought her human in to collect her Purina adult dog food. Nell had her weight checked today along with a body condition score by our Registered Veterinary Nurse.......who gave her the perfect score, following a nice little weight gain ( which was needed).
Nell is a new rescue dog, and walked straight into the practice with no hesitation on her second visit. Thanks for the visit Nell 🐶
