Looking for some four legged fun this summer! Dogstival is the new festival for dogs and dog lovers hosted by Chris Packham at Pylewell Park Estate, New Forest on the 18th and 19th May. The ultimate day out for you and your dog. Watch displays in the main arena or at "The Dog House" behaviour stage, live music, vintage fun fair, shopping galore for you and your dog, expert talks, have a go activities including the K9 Aquasports pool and flyball plus gourmet food and drink from top local producers. Tread carefully!

We have recently had our first adder bite patient of 2018! He is happily feeling much better now. 😊 Adders love the sunshine and will often be found basking to keep warm, especially near gorse bushes and on rocky hillsides. They will bite when a dog accidentally stands on them or if they are being sniffed! The symptoms of an adder bite include fast bruising and swelling which rapidly spreads, you sometimes may not see the puncture marks! If you have any suspicions that your dog has been bitten by an adder please keep your dog still and calm as excitement and moving around spreads the venom, and call ASAP to be seen at your local branch.
