❗URGENT - MISSING DOG - TOWN AREA WESTON SUPER MARE ❗

Chase has been missing since 9am on Saturday from Victoria Quadrant area of town. I've just had a long phone call conversation with his owner who is absolutely distraught. Chase is a very loved member of the family and his disappearance is very unusual for Chase. He is chipped but no reports from the Dog Warden or vets 😥 Drones have also been out and no sightings. His owner has called absolutely everyone and tried everything so far but still no sightings. He does not do well in the heat so it's vital he is found soon. PLEASE SHARE HIM AND LETS GET HIM HOME! contact me if you have any sightings or information and I'll pass it on to his worried owner. Thank you ###x

This is soooo true 🤣
Thank goodness I had all your amazing dogs this week to keep me going and to bring a smile too my face!
I'll be honest and say it's been absolutely hell trying to navigate around Weston this week with every turn you make being full of queues and roadworks! But we survived (just 🤣) and I don't think I've even been so ready for the weekend as I have been today 🤣 The roadworks are supposed to carry on until Monday so we shall see what that brings then.

This weather is so deceiving at the moment! We still took it steady today as even though it's cooler once the wind drops the heat comes back 🥵 we had some great walks today and the lunchtime group were feeling particularly full of beans 🤣

Today is going to be hot one! 🥵😎🌞 As always welfare is my first priority and I will be cutting the walks short if I find they are not enjoying themselves and are struggling. We have plenty of shade, water and of course the pool which Dora below is enjoying 😍🤣 ###

Well today the paddling pool was officially back! 🌞😎
It almost didn't make it after hooligan Rocky couldn't wait to get in it this morning and decided to do a full dive bomb and roll in his usual lab/husky style 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤣
After a bit of diy to fix it I managed to at least fill it enough for the next group to enjoy 😍🤣
Oliver the pug took ownership for a bit and cooled his whole body down in full relaxing mode 🤣

The spare pool will be back up and ready for tomorrows dogs to stay cool. We still had plenty of fun with tons of playing and of course water and some more chill time pottering in the shade.

Who am I to deny Daisie a tummy rub when she wants one 😍 🤣

I love this video of play and the behaviour shown between a client's dog and my own 🤗 As the video starts both dogs, who are good friends, are mutually inviting each other to play and it's great! However Flossie (short tail) does have a tendency to get over stimulated, shouty and bossy towards other dogs which can lead her into bullying a dog into playing. As you can see towards the end of the video Flossie starts to get a bit more over stimulated and starts to get a bit too much for Isla and so I stopped the video and directed them to carry on walking to direct the energy elsewhere and calm things down a bit before allowing any further play to continue. Play between dogs should ALWAYS be mutual and a dog should never be bullied into playing. After all playing should be fun! I'm watching you Flossie 👀🤣

Some recall practice today for the adorable Obie with a helping hand from Marley the collie 😍 Well, I like to think Marley was helping but the truth is he knew I had treats 🤣

Is it really any surprise that Dora slept all the way home after she was pretty much like this for the whole walk 🤣🤣

When your trying your best to stay in the shade and keep everyone calm because it's hot... there is always some that won't listen 🙄😂😂

When it's a bit warm and everyone needs to cool down after a play 🌞 Scattering some treats in the grass is a great enrichment activity for your dog. I love how you can hear their noses getting to work!! 😍 (please remember to only do this IF your dog does not have any allergies or resource guards!)

I absolutely love seeing this type of mutual play 🥰🥰🐾🐶 Completely respectful of each other and they know their boundaries (although Flossie does get frustrated when she cant keep up with Isla! 😂)

Its a hot day today so plenty of shade and steady walks. ... and it's no surprise which breed enjoyed the pool more today 😂😂

Im not going to lie....Im a bit jealous of Kal right now cooling off in the water 😂💦🥵 As the weather looks set to get even warmer over the next few days, as usual my hot weather plan will be put into place with walks being brought forward etc. For those who book weekly, if you could please let me know asap what you are needing for next week so I can plan my diary around the weather. A reactive dog isnt a 'bad dog' Its a dog that simply for whatever reason cannot cope in certain situations. Rather than being avoided and refused a chance. Be that one person to help them, guide them and teach them the good thats in this world and that there is nothing to fear. Do that and they will repay you a thousand fold and you will have their heart for life ♥️🐾

Letting a dog explore and forage is a great activity for your dog! 😃 On my walks we sometimes take breaks to allow the dogs to forage for some treats 😋 (only done with suitable dogs with no allergies/food aggression etc!) It's great for the dogs to let them use their natural abilities to snuffle out the treats in the grass.
