Introducing the FreeGraze Air Flow Grazing Muzzle

FreeGraze grazing muzzles are proven to help with controlled or restricted feeding regimes and special diets. Offering enhanced airflow around the nostrils, the open front configuration ensures plenty of ventilation. Cut back under the chin to avoid unnecessary pressure, faux fur lining protects against chafing for enhanced comfort. The rubber base curves up around the muzzle to offer unrestrictive space, a hole at the bottom allows grass to enter to allow restricted grazing. The fully adjustable harness benefits from synthetic padding and is fitted with two field safe fastenings. A lead rope can be attached to the D-ring for leading to and from the field. It is recommended that wear time is built up gradually.

New Simple Systems Meadow Forage Pellets have been created specifically for horses, to increase variety on the diet, for both enrichment and to support beneficial gut microbes.

They are a high fibre feed that can be fed alone or in addition to your horses existing diet, and can also be used in treat balls or as training aids.

Free from cereals, molasses, soya, straw, additives and preservatives.

Important update in regards to the below Allen & Page feeds.

Due to environmental issues and equipment supply problems the below feeds may temporarily take longer to soak than the recommended times advertised on the bags. Due to natural variations in crops and harvest, sometimes small changes within the ingredient (e.g., fibre content, straw density) can result in a pellet taking longer to soak.

Allen & Page are working to rectify this, however in the mean time they have advised to soak feeds for up to 12 hours. Rest assured, the feed is not taking 12 hours to soak but it is taking longer than usual. Please soak until all pellets are fully dissolved and a mash is formed.

𝙄𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚? 𝙄𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙤𝙣𝙚?

In January 2024 the rules for body protectors for British Eventing, Pony Club and British Riding Club events changed meaning only body protectors with the blue 2018 tag will be allowed to be used at these competitions. You can still wear one with 2009 taggs at home hacking, schooling etc but it is advised they are replaced every 3-5 years as the foam can compress and degrade over time.

We stock a range of different makes and style of body protectors which all have the 2018 standard. If yours is out of date or you need a new one why not pop in store and speak to our qualified staff to be fitted or browse our range online which can be delivered to your door!

When we were at the Charles Owen factory we got to see the testing that riding helmets go through in order to have the PAS105 safety standard. This was an incredible opportunity and really brought home how important it is to have a correctly fitting up to the latest safety standards. Don’t forget all our hats on sale in store all comply to the latest safety standards and are fitted by our qualified staff ensuring you have the best and safest fit 🦄

Two weeks ago we were lucky enough to go behind the scenes at the Charles Owen factory. Getting to see where and how they hand make all of their helmets. It was fantastic to see how they are made and the work put in to ensure they are incredible safe.
