This is Missy, a new customer of Watt A Wash and just the sweetest. She is a very tiny and very cute Maltese puppy 🥰

It was her first puppy groom so we decided to go slowly and she was a superstar! Double bathed in baby fresh puppy detangling shampoo. Face tidied, nails clipped and body scissored and shaped to tidy. Then finished off with the baby fresh detangling spray 💖

Throwback to handsome Spud 🥔

Spud is a sh*tzu x pug and came in for his first groom with us! He was quite hairy so needed to be taken shorter as he was starting to matte under his armpits and legs.

He was double bathed in oatmeal lime 🍋 and coconut 🥥 vegan shampoo. Then clipped and scissored, face tidied, nails trimmed and tail shortened. Finished off with deodorising oatmeal doggy perfume spray 🥰

It's going to be warm the next few days and it's already warm now! Look after your furry friends with access to shade and plenty of fluids 💕☀️🐾

A reminder with the upcoming hot weather to protect those paw pads! 🐾🌡️ We have all experienced a burn at some point in our lives, but can you imagine how painful it would be on your feet? 😥

If in doubt - don't go out! If you can't safely exercise your dog, missing a day won't hurt. To help your pet, avoid walks during the hottest part of the day, which is usually between 8am - 5pm. If it's too hot for you to hold your hand or bare foot on the floor for 5 seconds - it's too hot for your dog! ⏱️

Mischievous Murphy came in yesterday 🤪

Murphy is really starting to understand the grooming process and being a cockapoo it’s so important he learns to tolerate all aspects of grooming!
Murphy was double bathed in oatmeal, lime and coconut shampoo and fully clipped. His legs were scissored as he is still learning to tolerate the clippers on his feet 😂, face tidied, nails clipped ears and tail shortened. Finished off with “one in a million” cologne 🌼

Mist came back in for her beautiful collie tidy up. She is a working collie so needed a good double bath in deodorising shampoo and whitening shampoo on her “white bits”. Brushed her coat out and tidied up her feathers, feet and she also had her nails trimmed. Then finished with the fabulous deodorising baby fresh spray 🧼🤩

Thor was a bit matted and hot so we decided to take him shorter so his coat can be managed easier with it being prone to matting!

Tinkerbell and Charlie 💕

Tinkerbell the Chihuahua came in for her first groom today. She has sensitive skin so was double bathed in the oatmeal lime and coconut shampoo. Clippers used to clip her body down shorter and legs scissored. The her face tidied and nails trimmed. Finished off with baby fresh perfume spray 🥰

Charlie the Bichon x Chihuahua came back in for his regular groom. Charlie was double bathed in diamond whitening shampoo, then groomed, scissored, had his nails trimmed and face and tail tidied up. Then finished off with “one in a million“ perfume spray 🤩

Before & After of Boo, the ShihTzu/Bichon/Poodle mix, who had her first “adult” groom this time after her puppy starter grooms.

Due to Boo being a regular Watt A Wash customer who has had many puppy grooms, her adult full groom went really smoothly and she tolerated everything amazingly for being so young (still working on that head but it will come with patience and time)! 🥰

Boo was double bathed in baby fresh detangling shampoo as her poodle coat can be knotty. She has got clipped and had a face tidy, and nail trim. Then finished off with baby fresh detangling spray 🤩

Throwback to this lovely customer photo of Eddie and Arthur after their first pamper in 5 years 💕🧼

These gorgeous field spaniels were both double bathed in the lime and coconut shampoo as they love to play in the sea 😝. The shampoo made their skin feel nourished and conditioned from the salt water!
