We have a lady who has asked for our help in re-homing her dog.

As always please be kind.

Simba is a 5-year-old male GSD who is fun loving, obedient but also knows how to push the boundaries. As with all GSD’s, He just wants to be with his humans, but he can be left alone for a few hours at a time once he is settled. Simba loves going for car rides and is always ready to go out. He is also very good at settling/resting as long as he has had his walks. Simba is protective of his owners and his home so will bark loudly when there is someone at the door, or even outside the home. He will settle once he is reassured and sees everything is ok.

Simba is very sniff orientated so loves to play ‘find it’ with hidden treats, loves water play and of course ball play. He can walk nicely on a lead after the initial excitement and will always want to walk slightly ahead of you. He will mirror other dogs’ behaviour. If he passes reactive dogs, then Simba will also react. He is a strong dog and will pull at times like this. He loves off lead time in a park or field. Simba knows a variety of commands and is house trained and has good food manners.

He is neutered and up to date with vaccinations. We are rehoming Simba with a heavy heart as he is much loved pet. However, due to Simba biting a teenage family member. I would suggest he goes to a home with NO children. This behaviour was completely out of character for Simba, he is generally a well-behaved dog with a good temperament and just wants to please his human. He would be best placed in a home with no other pets as he loves all the attention for himself. Simba needs fuss and being involved in everything the family is doing. He is very attentive to where everybody is and what is going on.

Potential owners will be ‘vetted’ as we are looking for the perfect forever home. Simba is not to be used for guarding/protection work. He is overall a healthy dog, but he does suffer with allergies which I am initially happy to provide advice with, as this is managed through diet (complete raw food), supplements, cleanliness, and regular grooming. He will always seek out the coolest part of the house and does not tend to use a dog bed.

Simba is a full pedigree GSD, and clearly a handsome boy, but he is much more than this. If you are genuinely interested, experienced with the breed, willing to put in the time & effort Simba needs to be happy & healthy, and are looking for a loyal companion, then please get in touch on 07535 665834.

I wanted to share these images with you

This is Max, October 2023 pup from Athena & Captain's last litter together.

His owner has a neighbour who regularly takes images of Max over the garden fence.

I think these images are absolutely wonderful and I wish I had a neighbour like them!!!!

I've included some of our images from when Max was here, hasn't Max grown into a handsome boy.

His owners are now having another Stone grandson from us from Splash & Boy's litter.

I'm looking forward to the future images already.
