Little rough collie deshed this morning. No before and after shots as too hot but these were taking with the blaster on the cool setting so they were comfortable, me on the other hand was a sweaty mess 🥵

For those visiting my page looking for a new groomer let me introduce myself so you can see if I’m the right fit for you and your dog. I am a welfare over vanity groomer. The dogs I do are treated with respect and care and their needs come before yours. If you bring me a matted dog I will shave it off, if your dog has behavioural problems related to grooming I will do what I can but their groom may not be perfect for the first few appointments (or until I have built a relationship of trust with them). It can sometimes take me a while before I can get to trim their nails (I always manage eventually though). I do like the dogs to have time to play in the garden after their groom where possible so it ends on a positive for them. I only groom regulars and do not do one off grooms. I’m always happy to chat to and do a meet and greet with no charge so feel free to pm me 🐾 ✂️

To save the embarrassment of contacting me. I would like to clarify that if you have left to go elsewhere (which I really have no problem with) for a cheaper groom or any other reason I will not take you back on my books especially if you’ve been a no show!!! Once you have gone elsewhere I take you off my books and your dog no longer becomes a priority for me regardless of how desperate they are. I will only accommodate the dogs on my books (my loyal clients). Yes it’s hot and all good groomers are fully booked but I’m sorry your dog is no longer my responsibility. As you all know I am committed to making sure every dog on my books is squeezed in to ensure they are comfortable in this heat so I’m unable to squeeze in anymore. constant phone calls and messages will now be blocked for my peace
