🐾 Today is a very special day for a very special member of our team here at Sunrise! If you have visited us over the last 6 weeks or so you would’ve no doubt been introduced to little Rodri 🐱 💙 He has brought us so much fun & mischief during his time with us but tomorrow he moves onto his forever home in Hebden Bridge, lucky Rodri! We wish him (and his new family) lots of luck! 🐾

We have had a beautiful male cat brought in to us this afternoon sadly deceased, the cat is black with a little white chin and white feet. He is chipped however sadly not registered so we are struggling to find his family 💔 Please share to help us get the lovely boy home 🙏🏻🐾

He was found this morning outside the garage at the bottom of parbold hill 🐾

An emotional day today for staff and patients alike as we say goodbye to our wonderful nurse Ellie 🥹
It has been a true pleasure to work alongside Ellie and we wish her every success as she moves on to begin her new chapter in south wales 💖

Winnie definitely made herself at home this evening! She came in for a check up and she must be getting used to the vets as she was very comfortable to lay on her back and get her belly rubbed🥰 Can’t wait to see her again (hopefully not too soon!) and see how big she gets🤍

Who doesn’t love a golden retriever puppy? This little girl is called Toffee! We saw her on Friday for her second puppy vaccination and she was super cute🤍 We’re very excited to see what she’s like as she grows up🐕

We have had a beautiful little tortoise handed into us this afternoon, found by Pesto restaurant. She appears to be very well and is enjoying the attention for now but we would love to get her back home where she belongs 🥰

Lots of chilled patients recently! This is George, a lovely cavalier king charles spaniel. He came in on Wednesday for a check up. George had a blood test and a couple of injections, and nothing fazed him! How cute does he look? 🐕🤍

It’s very important to have your pets on long term medication checked up regularly to ensure that they are doing well! We recommend 6 monthly blood tests with most medication as a minimum to ensure the dose they are on is correct and that they are functioning as they should be.
