This gorgeous girl is a Collie cross who is searching for a long-term foster or forever home.

Some things just get better with age, and Lacey most definitely falls into this category!

She may be almost 14 years old, but she oozes personality and she is so gentle-hearted.

Lacey still very much wants to be involved in everything going on around her, as the saying goes 'Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional', which fits this lovely lady perfectly.

She may be a little slower than she once was, but she still enjoys every moment of her off-lead time in our fields, strutting about taking in all the sniffs and scents.

She has impeccable manners and trots beautifully alongside us on her lead, watching us with her beautiful, endearing eyes.

Lacey can’t hear very much, but this suits her just fine as it means she can sleep peacefully and this clever lady has picked up lots of hand signals already – when we wave at her, she gets all waggy and excited about the attention coming her way!

We are looking to find an adult family for Lacey, who will enjoy spoiling her rotten so she can lead a life of luxury, surrounded by love in this very special period of her life.

She came into rescue because her beloved owner sadly passed away, and we want nothing more than to honour their wishes of making sure Lacey continues to be cared for and loved.

We think that Lacey would be comfortable living with another like-minded and similar-aged companion, who also prefers a gentler pace of life.

We believe she could also possibly live with cats, so long as they were used to living with dogs.
