Handsome Bear is a 4-year-old Rottweiler in search of an active, knowledgeable home that has previous experience with Rottweilers/Bull-breeds or large dogs. Bear lives up to his name and is very cuddly, friendly, and playful.

Bear has been well socialised; his owner put lots of love and time into making sure he grew into the polite, lovable 55-kilo giant that he is today. We are looking for someone who is able to continue the good work his owner started and provide ongoing training. He is a bit fearful at the vets, so he will need some positive reinforcement with this. Of course, our marvellous Animal Welfare Team will be on hand to give the best advice on how to help him overcome his fears. So, a kind, patient vet nearby would help.

Bear loves people. He is good with children and very happy to say hi, but sometimes he doesn’t realise his size and jumps up for a bit of a ‘hug’ so it would be best if he were placed in a home without young children. He is dog-friendly and could happily be homed with a companion dog if they were the right match. He is relaxed when left home alone and is immaculately clean in the house.

He might be big, but Bear is a softie, and he will settle well into his new home as long as he has his special blankies that he carries around for comfort. His other favourite things are people, walking, sniffing, and his Kong. Bear sleeps on his own bed in the bedroom and enjoys a cuddle on the sofa.

We are seeking an active, experienced home for Bear with someone able to provide consistent training and firm boundaries. Bear is currently in Berkshire but is happy to travel anywhere if it means he finds his perfect forever home.

🌟 1:1 Session - Scooby 🌟
Third session with Scooby the over excitable Labrador! Today we continued work on connection & control to ensure her owners are able to keep her out of trouble, with Stooge Dog Ludo as a distraction, we even managed a little meet & greet.
THEN we brought in Nanuq who has a whole different energy which completely changed Scooby’s comfort levels, while still keeping her in a safe controlled environment.
So we did a lot of distance work ensuring the control was there, while keeping Scooby calm and able to think and not react. We then put Nanuq away for the last few minutes so that Scooby could relax with Ludo, but at a distance she was comfortable with.

I absolutely love being able to help other dogs, adults & children through my 1:1 Sessions & Group Classes, priding myself on a non-judgemental relaxed attitude to put people at ease, while getting the job done in a fun friendly environment. I only use positive reinforcement & reward based training, never negative or harsh methods.
I make it very clear the sessions are not quick fixes & owners will need to continue with their training, even if they don’t book in another session.
Daily training is ESSENTIAL - not only does it strengthen the bond between dog & owner, it also establishes clear boundaries, plus providing mental stimulation which will tire the dog out often much more than a simple walk can! Bonus!
Grab a handful of your dog’s breakfast/dinner & use that to put into practice your training, before free feeding the rest of the meal, takes less than 5 minutes ⏰
It’s NEVER too late, or too early, to start your 1:1 Session journey, as long as you are committed to helping your dog. Sessions are at a place & time to suit YOU!

My name is Clara, founder of The Muzzle Movement and I spend my time educating the public on responsible muzzle use in the hope that we can help break down the stigma associated with muzzled dogs...
..and show the world that muzzled dogs can and do live fulfilled and happy lives! 🥰

There are lots of preconceptions about dogs in muzzles;

- They are somehow ‘bad dogs’ or ‘need training

- They are being subjected to a negative experience by being ‘forced’ to wear a muzzle

- Their guardians are somehow irresponsible or cruel.

All of which is FALSE! 😁 and I hope that our page can help you see muzzles from a different point of view, allowing you to feel empathy and compassion for muzzled dogs and their guardians 💗

Because muzzled dogs are still good dogs!!

🌟 Puppy 1:1 Session - Rosie 🌟
First session with Rosie, who is going through a tough teething & mouthing/biting phase, causing her owner a lot of distress. She has already been taught the basic commands which is fantastic, so today we went through various distraction techniques for when the frantic behaviour starts.
After the session Rosie’s owner had a look at the K9Connectables & LickiMats ranges and bought some for Rosie to keep her busy (see separate post for their benefits).

I absolutely love being able to help other dogs, adults & children through my 1:1 Sessions & Group Classes, priding myself on a non-judgemental relaxed attitude to put people at ease, while getting the job done in a fun friendly environment. I only use positive reinforcement & reward based training, never negative or harsh methods.
I make it very clear the sessions are not quick fixes & owners will need to continue with their training, even if they don’t book in another session.
Daily training is ESSENTIAL - not only does it strengthen the bond between dog & owner, it also establishes clear boundaries, plus providing mental stimulation which will tire the dog out often much more than a simple walk can! Bonus!
Grab a handful of your dog’s breakfast/dinner & use that to put into practice your training, before free feeding the rest of the meal, takes less than 5 minutes ⏰
It’s NEVER too late, or too early, to start your 1:1 Session journey, as long as you are committed to helping your dog. Sessions are at a place & time to suit YOU!
