Meet Milo!

He came into our Gillingham branch today for his free 6 month Juvenile Check with Nurse Charlotte.
As he is a Pet Health Club member he received a complimentary nail clip and also had 6 months flea and worming products dispensed.
He had lots and lots of cuddles and fuss as he was so good, …..and……well - look at his face! So handsome.

Joining our Pet Health Club is easy and if you would like to know more, please click the link below ⬇️

🟢July 2021 Covid Update🟢

We would like to start by thanking all of our lovely clients for continuing to bear with us through these strange and sometimes challenging times.

We want to reassure you that we will continue to provide our veterinary services to all the animals that need us.

Our Wincanton and Gillingham branches remain open as normal 5 days a week with only Wincanton running a Saturday morning surgery currently. Our Milborne Port branch is running surgeries but at a reduced basis so please do call us to check before arranging a visit. Mere surgery may be opening again shortly at limited times so please watch this space ☺.
Our out-of-hours 24 hour emergency service is operating as normal.

🟢Visiting us

We continue to ask our clients to remain outside the practice whilst we examine your pets. We must keep you and our staffs health and safety an absolute priority as not all of our staff are yet fully vaccinated and some are more vulnerable to respiratory illness. This must remain in place for a little longer so please be patient.

These are strange times for us all and we are busier than ever. We do sometimes run late and this is often because we are dealing with a very poorly pet before your appointment that needs a little extra time.
We will do everything we can to see you as soon as possible.

We review the health and safety of you and our staff on a weekly basis and we will update you when necessary.

Please be patient and kind to us. Our staff are working so incredibly hard through the pandemic and there is no need to be rude.

Thank you and please take care ☺

Meet the very beautiful Astrid!

She came into our Wincanton branch to have a couple of ticks removed. She was super brave and Lindsay, one of our registered nurses, was more than happy to help and she was such a friendly little girl.

Please read through the poster below as it gives you some really great tips for your dogs in hot weather.

PLEASE remember that if you need to walk your dog during this hot weather, make sure it is either very early in the morning or later in the evening when the air and tarmac temperature is much less.

If you are ever unsure then please call us on 01963 33226 as we will be happy to advise you 😊

As the hot weather seems to be sticking around for a while, it is important we remember our loyal canines. If you can't do the test below, then please DO NOT venture out!

Walk early in the mornings or late at night when it is much cooler.
