Hampshire Horseball is a Division 2 horseball team located in Wi******er, Hampshire.

We’ve been a little slack recently with our socials so hoping to get back into it!!
So far we’ve been to two events this season, some hard fought games to start LW1 by playing Derby & young gunz losing both and then playing LW2 against melton Sunday but winning our first match against hazard Quinn’s Saturday !
The team are really getting into the season and training with new players this year from juniors in Becca and coraline as well as brand new player Zoe!
Currently sitting 4th on the league table with Steve at top goal scorer so far there’s just one weekend left to see if we can progress any higher and if Steve can retain his top goal scorer spot !

No.9 Alexandra Oldbury-Davies & Faro
Our coach Alex is joining the team with new horse Faro for his first season playing.
Alex is really looking forward to coaching another season with Hampshire and playing alongside them as well. Hoping to get better results and some great gameplay for 2024 season really excited to get the team on the pitch ! 💚🖤

New player Zoe is ready for her first season aboard Hampshire Polo, Pony cobra who has previously played.
Zoe is Looking forward to getting real game play in, perhaps learning the rulesbut that might be a stretch, nailing my pick ups and meeting the rest of the Horseball community in the UK 🦄🦄

This will be Coraline first season in seniors after a successful junior year. Lovely Cherokee has played previously another lovely horse from Hampshire Polo
She’s looking forward to playing with the team she trains with at home

This will be Marine’s third season with Hampshire and Storms first - another great horse from Hampshire Polo School
Marine has a great time scooping the balls up on the pitch she’s hoping to have a stronger quicker defence this season

Helena has been with the team since the beginning coming into her sixth season.
This will be her first season with Magna from Hampshire polo school.
Hoping to get better results and games this season and bring her own mare into the game too. 💚🖤

Introducing Helena!

Helena has been playing horseball for 7 years.
She started at the University of Southampton and competed in 3 and a half seasons.
Helena is aiming to get her 8 year old ex racehorse, Tia, to a horseball competition! 🤩

Introducing Leah!

Leah has played 2 seasons of horseball.
Her new horse Desperado is a 10yo retrained racehorse and has played 1 horseball weekend and participated in the Newmarket ROR demo day in with Leah. They’ve been doing very well as a new pair and are hoping for a bright future together playing horseball.

Introducing Zoe!

Zoe has been riding for 25+ years.
She has competed mainly in dressage and showing but she has branched out to horseball as she also plays softball in her spare time.
Zoe started attending Hampshire Horseball training winter of 2022.
Her goal would be to finally enter a Horseball competition!
