Little Casper has been making some absolutely fabulous progress!!

I started working with him unbroken at the end of autumn 2022, and started from the ground up with lots of desensitisation, inhand walks, homemade obstacle courses etc as well as teaching him lunging and long reining and then slowly and gently started backing him.

He started off as a very nervous pony so we took it really steady with him and did all sorts of things to boost his confidence.

Anyway - here he is today jumping his first mini course of little fences!! He's got a cracking pop on him so think with a bit of time he's going to be super!! 🥰

Happy 2023!! 🎉

We would like to wish all our wonderful clients, friends and family for all their support this year and for your continued support going into the new year.

2022 has been a tough one for us all, with some huge highs and big lows but time to look forward to the future now!

We've got some big plans this year and hoping to make it the best one yet 🐴

I'm excited to catch up with my regular clients again asap and looking forward to hopefully meeting some new lovely clients as well 🥰

⭐️Freelance Riding Availability ⭐️

I have some freelance riding availability coming up as of the 1st December for either regular clients or on a more ad/hoc basis.

Over 15 years experience with all types of horses in both English and Western, and happy to ride the hot competition horse or the slow companion pony!
Jump 1.15m+ at home, and school with a kind and sympathetic approach. Have also trained in Western Pleasure and Reining. Worked with young stock, racehorses, competition horses etc

I start and produce horses so have plenty of experience with youngsters, and happy to jump, school, hack or just do groundwork 🐴

With all my yard and groundwork hours filled, I currently have space for one or two extra clients for riding/exercising horses.

This can be ad hoc or regular and can be tailored to suit both yours and your horses' needs, and includes:

* Riding
*Schooling

* Lunging/longreining
* Jumping
* Competition riding

and much more! Whatever may help out you and your horse or pony 😊

Kind, sympathetic rider with over 15 years experience, 5'10 but lightweight so happy to ride both horses, and ponies (within reason!)
Have jumped 1.20m and taken horses XC and hunter trials, as well as breaking in horses and producing them,
Happy to ride big or small, lazy or sharp! Have ridden hot competition horses and have sat my fair share of rears, bucks and broncs so not afraid of quirks!

Youngsters seem to be the majority of my clientele currently, but I am always happy to help out with any older horses as well or anything in between 😊

Superstar Charm out hacking with her mummy on board this afternoon! A little ride in the school and then adventures down the road and open fields

That’s a wrap on Charms training with us 🥰 We’ll have one more fun session tomorrow and then she goes back on Sunday to continue her adventures at home! She’s been a real star to back and bring on and I hope her and her mum have mountains on fun on whatever adventures they may choose ❤️

We had a little go round the school first and then went out for her first hack, solo down the lanes and proved that she can even hack on the buckle!

Another busy week!! 🌹🐴

Taboo had his first saddle on and took it all in his stride, and did a beautiful bit of lunging as if he’d been wearing one his whole life! Followed by a little bit of work with the mounting block and some leaning over to prep him for his first ride.

Some more groundwork with the foals 🥰 This big beauty is the lovely Skye! Not even a year old and already HUGE, she’s going to be a big girl 🙈 Some inhand walking, stopping and turning and practicing her lifting her feet ready for her first farrier visit in the next couple of weeks

Charm had her first hack out down the lanes which was very successful, she took birds, dogs and traffic all in her stride and even managed some lovely trots up and down the road 😊

Little Dollar is slowly starting to come back into work to start getting him a little bit fitter ready to start his own adventures in the next few months ❤️

Some clips of Charm from our ride last night ☺️

First ever trot circles, a trot to halt, stopping starting and turning, and stepping over some poles!

She’s definitely becoming much more confident in her walk and trot steps so hopefully will carry this forward as she progresses through the weeks 😊
