So proud of this Team - a few months back this little dude found the big wide world a bit too much and would bark constantly to help himself feel better
Fast forward to today we went on a big Walkies for his session and he totally rocked it! He took it all in his stride and achieved a major milestone 🤩💕

What is Hoopers I hear you ask? 🤔
Hoopers is an agility based sport, that is low impact and fun. The handler directs their dog around a course made of a combination of hoops, barrels and tunnels. Hoopers can be practiced at home, in the garden, at the park or in training classes. This exciting sport gives your a dog a physical and mental workout, whilst increasing your teamwork and encouraging your dog to listen to you 🥰

TOP TIP TUESDAY 🙌
When teaching a down feed your dog between their paws to help them maintain duration on the mat.
If you feed from the hand, especially, in the initial stages it encourages your dog to come up to meet you.
I also like to encourage little ones like Sophia to reward dogs by dropping the food on the floor so it keeps the dogs from nibbling at hands and jumping up - this has already been taught separately prior to this video.
It is also important to know and understand your dog’s individual body language and ensure that they are happy around food and people/little ones.
* for safety always ensure your little ones and dogs are supervised when together *
