Essie the Cavapoo puppy back in for her first big girl groom. We didn't want to go too short and lose all that puppy fluff. Just enough to keep her comfy and matt free in the hot weather

This little sweetheart joined me in the salon again last weekend. Hattie is very nervous and hates the dryers so we get her all cut before her bath and then just give her a good towel dry. She goes home a little damp but so much happier 💕

Ruperts doppleganger Hugo came in for a handstrip last weekend. He's known for his crazy top knot so we kept it nice and long... just a little scissor tidy and a good brush out and some clipping of matts to his ears. We also clipped it short under his ears to help prevent future matts as he shows off his long locks. Then a traditional handstrip to his body and legs and a scissor tidy to his feet.

This gorgeous boy Ripley joined me in the salon last weekend for a deshed. I think we can safely say he enjoyed his pampering.... rolling over for a belly rub for most of his appointment. 😍

The gorgeous Mabel joined me back in the salon for a much needed trim. We took her much shorter this time to keep her cool as the weather warms up. She's such a sweetheart.....Unfortunately she suffers from cataracts so is partially sighted. We give her lots of reassurance and take things at her own pace.

Bailey the cockapoo in for a full groom. We took him nice and short in anticipation of the hotter weather. It's really important to keep ontop of brushing with curly coat breeds as this to prevent matting. Luckily Bailey's been well looked after and was matt free hence no need to shave him short

The gorgeous Marlow joined us again in the salon a few weeks back for his first big boy groom following his puppy intro last month. We decided to go down the hand-stripping route for Marlow carefully removing all that blown coat leaving his nice shiny coat beneath.

Milo the working cocker spaniel joined us for a trim a few weeks back. We reverse clipped him to take him a little shorter than usual, giving a practical length for muddy and wet walks

Rosie the gorgeous Golden Retriever joined me a few weeks ago for a Wash, Brush & Dry. She was a little nervous after her owners left but absolutely loves water so a quick jump in the bath and we were best friends!

Happy Easter from all at Mr Hughz Doggy Do's!!! We hope you've all had a lovely weekend! Rupert has spent it doing his favourite things.... lazy mornings in bed, basking in the sunshine and laying down in rock pools!
