One year on today having sold the farm and wow what a year! Thank you to my wonderful family and friends for your continued love and support! Life is great, no regrets at all as have many happy memories and loving the chance to enjoy other things that this world has to offer! Looking forward to the next year! ###🥰❤️😍

As many people know we lost Dad on 6th November after a whirlwind of events! We have finally been able to arrange his funeral and wake which are detailed in the below information! Calling all Cottage Farmers from years ago till now! My wonderful Di is finally hanging up her horsey gear and retiring! She has been an integral part of Cottage Farm for over 27 and a half years, she arrived in February 1994 with her beloved Ernie for those who remember and we all used to sing how he drove the fastest milk cart in the west! After losing him she then worked for me until today! I know there is not one person whose life she has not touched with her kind, friendly and considerate nature! I know she will treasure any stories and kind words as she embarks onto a quieter life so do please get in touch with some memories for her! Cottage Farm were out in force today at dressage with 3 of us at Parwood
Madi - 1st in both the Intro C and Prelim 7
Joe Powell - 2nd in Prelim 7
Karen - 1st in Prelim 12
Then down at Sparsholt strutting their stuff was the lovely Ruth Orrell-Harris on Millie who came 2nd in the Novice 27!
Well done everyone a fabulous day out in great weather, all the hard work paid off! Super proud 👏🙌🎉🍾🥂🥳🥰😍###

After a fab couple of days clinic this weekend and everyone getting up and going again. Next Sunday 11th April, I am doing a course jumping clinic to get some practice in before you go out competing.

With restrictions easing slightly from 29th March, it’s great to be able to say that I can finally do a pole/grid clinic on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd April. These will be groups of 4/5 people at £15 per person. You may have one person to watch the session.

Super chuffed with the barn project, it went really smoothly from beginning to end! I now have two super barns from AC Jackson Ltd who do a fabulous job, also a huge shout out to Andrew Wilson for the electrics, all the other bits and preparation of all the concreting and for Mark Wilson for helping lay it with him! It has changed the place again for the better! Thank you 😊 🥰😍###x

Operation demolition of my old barn took place today, the oldest building I had left and is now down! Bit more subtle clearance left this week to make way for new footings next week and then a new barn is due to be erected at the beginning of March! End of one era and many memories in the old place! 🥰🥰
