Our last guest was my oldest client, the lovely Jessica! She has been staying with us since 2015! 🖤 What a treat to see her again, such a sweet and funny character 🥰

! 🤍 Five years ago we adopted our beautiful Gene, who started his long nap a few months ago. 💔 He was probably born in the spring of #2008 and a kind lady sent me this puppy picture of him. ! Gene was a majestical and beautiful dog, so many people complimented me over the years. 🤩 But he was also sweet, shy and very calm. Gene loved ear scratches and following his brother (Flanders, RIP) around. He had a horrible last few days and I will never get over that 💔💔💔 but try to focus on the good times.

Happy everypawdy! Our Callie from Kirsten's Zoo Charity is still looking for a home! Playful, sweet, around 14 kilo so a nice smaller size. She doesn’t require a lot of exercise but does love a good tug o war!

Today Mark & I took Celadine, a shelter dog from , on a little field trip. What an incredibly SWEET young dog is this. We hope she’ll find her forever home soon, she deserves the best. 🥰🥲 Perfect in the car, makes friends everywhere, walks nicely on the leash, wants ánd deserves all the pats in the world! 🤍🤎

Happy ! Here’s some pawesome news: our gal 大 Sophie has made it safe and sound to her new (old) home: ! 🖤 We couldn’t be happier ! 🖤 Just shows older dogs do NOT necessarily have to be abandoned (🙄) and can often travel ! ✈️ 🇨🇭

Sophies come and Sophies go ! Last night sweet 小 (little) Sophie came to stay with us again, but a couple of hours later we had to say goodbye to 大 (big) Sophie as she’s moving back to Switzerland next week. 🥲 We are happy this old girl won’t have to endure another HK Summer but we’ll miss her happy go lucky energy! 🖤 Sophies are great dogs! 🖤🤍🤎

Sooooo … remember how last Summer we fostered a beautiful 1.5 year old black pupper called Mark (who I nicknamed Bark because another Mark is just confusing) from . It broke my heart we couldn’t keep him. 💔 I loved him but he loved old Gene too much and used grandpa as a jungle gym. 🙈 Luckily he got adopted and as far as I know he’s living his best life on Lamma. 🖤 Fast forward to the beginning of 2024 and we’re fostering Marlo, who was adopted as a puppy and dumped before Christmas. I told (human) Mark: “boy, Marlo SURE reminds me of Bark! Same lovely character, he’s just a slightly calmer Bark with a white coat on. Actually he’s also the same age. And his name starts with an M too… Hmmm… “ 🤔 I did some digging, turns out Bark & Marlo are BROTHERS, from the same lovely litter born at the AFCD in January 2022. Long story short, we fell for him HARD and have a new dog! 🖤🤍
