The company was founded in Budapest, Hungary, nearly 30 years ago and since its inception, has been at the forefront of laboratory diagnostics. ufacturers’ analyzers), hematology control material, clinical chemistry analyzers, clinical chemistry reagents and controls. Throughout the world, the Diatron brand name has been established by our ability to manufacture high quality and
reliable instruments resulting in our products being sold and marketed in more than 100 countries. Today, there are more than 40,000 of our analyzers in laboratory use and our customer base continues to grow strongly year after year. At Diatron we not only pride ourselves in the quality of our products but also in the quality of our support through our comprehensive product training programs and our excellent technical support and customer service teams. All Diatron products are CE marked and manufactured in large production lots in an ISO 9001 and 13485-certified production facility. In 2016, Diatron MI was acquired by Stratec Biomedical AG, a world leading partner for development and manufacturing of technological and scientific solutions for the life science industry and specializes in instrumentation, software and sample preparation products and services for in vitro diagnostics (IVD).

In Hungary we are facing a massive heat wave in the last few weeks, so it was the perfect time to held our now annual Ice cream day for our colleagues.
We can say, it was a great success. Our co-workers had their well-deserved, delicious break and at the end of the day all the gelato was gone.

This week we organized our annual internal charity cookie day to help raise money for "Vigyél haza". 🐶🍪
Vigyél Haza Alapítvány is a foundation for orphaned and injured dogs, who works with an animal shelter nearby our site. Each and every one of the cookies, cakes, pies and snacks were handmade by our colleagues.
With the money donated, we can make a small contribution to making the lives of stray dogs a little better with pet food, toys and veterinary services.

The Diatron running team participated at last weekend’s Telekom Vivicitta Half Marathon.🥇
It was a great challenge to test their limits and they all crossed the finish line successfully. We encourage our colleagues to get up off the table and out of their comfort zone, which is why we have several sport clubs in the company, one of which is the running team. 🏃♂️

We already teased in our last post our hematology reagent factory because it is a special element of Diatron’s production. We optimize of our reagent production process by integrating a state-of-the-art packaging robot.
