Cutest boy getting some cuddles after his neutering today 😍😍
WHAT A CUTIE!!
Next up for October is Hyperthyroidism
Hyperthyroidism is something that mainly affects cat, in very rare cases dogs can get hyperthyroidism.
It mainly affects cats over the age of 8 years. It can be diagnosed by a simple blood test, and is managed fairly easily ( by medication & in some cases a diet change may control thyroid levels).
It may look like your cat is just aging, however these symptoms can (in most cases) be resolved & your cat will go back to looking & acting like themselves.

🧐🧐🧐Friday Night Quiz!!! 🧐🧐🧐
Who can guess what these creatures are?
As most of you guessed correctly, these are ear mites!
Ear mites live in our pets ears, signs of ear mites include:
- black debris inside the ear
- Scratching their ears
- Shaking their head
Ear mites are easily treated so don’t worry! If you have concerns over your pets ears, don’t hesitate to book them in for a health check on 094 95 41082.
Did you know that if you pet has an ear infection we perform an ear swab and examination under the microscope to see what treatment is best suited to your pets needs!
Canine cough is sometimes referred to as kennel cough, but your pet is equally likely to encounter the disease when & where dogs gather together, like parks, grooming parlours, housing estates, walkways and beaches in addition to boarding kennels, shows or training classes. Contact us today @ 094 95 41082 for a full health check / vaccine programme.
