Thank You to the Kilworth Community from An Garda Síochána in Fermoy District in helping to bring about a successful outcome in Saturday and Sunday's search and rescue operation.
Hundreds of volunteers assisted AGS, Irish Defence Forces, Irish Search Dogs, Munster Lowland Search Dogs, Mallow Search & Rescue, Blackwater Search & Rescue and the National Ambulance Service in challenging conditions. Hot food and drinks were provided at HQ, kindly hosted by Scoil Mháirtín, and greatly appreciated.
Your cooperation and dedication played an integral role in ensuring the success of the operation.
It is truly inspiring to witness a community come together with such solidarity and compassion. Your willingness to lend a helping hand, provide valuable information, and offer support to the team of responders exemplifies the strength and resilience of the Kilworth community.
We are truly grateful for your partnership and look forward to continuing to work together to ensure the safety and security of our community.

We will be finishing up on Thursday 28th March in our Vicars road, Togher location. If you need your dog done before that date we have limited availability on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th March.

If you see a hedgehog out by day that's lying down, circling or has flies around it then it needs help ASAP. Sadly help came too late for this poor soul who had been seen for a few days. The finder said they could see maggots in the wound, a nice chunk of the back was missing and looks like a gardening accident. Our friends at Riverview Veterinary Group did an exam and sadly the extensive damage the maggots had done meant euthanasia was the only option. Please if you see an animal needing help seek advice and help as soon as you can't. Delaying often causes death
