For anyone who has a new puppy getting, them familiar with being brushed, bathed and handled for grooming at a young age is really beneficial and important for their environmental and social development. It's also great for me to get some puppy cuddles 😂.

Some time ago I made a submission to the Irish Law Reform Commission about the Control of Dogs Act 1998 Regulations (the dog breed specific restrictions). The idea being that they would review the evidence I provided and decide if they will include it in their work package for the coming term to decide whether to get rid of these breed restrictions in favour of new strict restrictions on all dog owners (regardless of breed). They will then work on all the evidence, and impact statements from people and groups and make their recommendation to the government.

They have informed me today that should ANY other person, or GROUPS feel like they want their voices heard about these breed specific restrictions, and how they impact you, the dogs, or life in general to click on the link just below, fill in a few sentences within the interactive form, and just click send. This is a very serious opportunity for people to ask them to review the current breed specific restrictions (Control of Dogs Act 1998 Regulations). Tag, share, and get as many people to do this as possible.
