I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who bought their dogs to me for grooming over the past 4 years, unfortunately I will not be grooming anymore. I still plan to work with dogs but on the rehabilitation side for dogs.
At this moment in time I have started a 2 year in-depth course in Clinical Canine Massage Therapy with the canine massage therapy centre in Worcestershire UK.
Clinical Canine Massage is a highly skilled results driven therapy which aims to resolve/and or support issues in just 1-3 sessions.
Clinical Massage is used for rehabilitation and prevention of soft tissue and muscular injuries, chronic pain management, improves mobility and flexability, supports and provides amazing results for dogs with orthopaedic conditions (arthritis, hip/elbow dysplasia, luxating patella etc.), supports senior dogs and dogs slowing down, enhancing performance of working, sporting and show dogs, neurological conditions, dogs with inconclusive x-rays, dogs with NSAID intolerance, faster recovery from injury/surgery, supports your veterinary care and more.
4 disciplines of massage deep tissue, sports, Swedish, direct and indirect myofascial release with over 50 techniques the practitioner has a unique skill set to aid in a dogs return to mobility and vitality using a scientific approach.
Unique to this course also is the trade marked Lenton method - a 3 tiered results driven approach to the treatment of muskoskeletal problems in dogs, which since 2018 is currently undergoing clinical trials in both universities in Wi******er with independent veterinary surgeons.
