Here's a few pics of some various mushrooms and crust fungus found today out in a very damp coniferous forest. Got soaked through in the rain, and while crossing over some cold bog streams to find all these beauties. I couldn't have been happier 😎🍄

Found some deer shield (Pluteus cervinus), Fragrant funnel (Clitocybe fragrans), Skeletocutis brevispora (Skeletocutis brevispora), Fomitopsis sp.

Great to see some lovely spring fungi starting to pop up 🍄💚

Some lovely coloured Lycogala epidendrum fruiting from a decaying hazel branch. Also known as wolf's milk.

It is pink when it's young and turns to a grey/brown as it matures. It is considered as a slime mould rather than fungi. 🍄💛
