Amelia is a beautiful girl. Now sleeps on a different bed every night. She has a gentle nature and the 2nd cat to have been taken out of the colony of 17 cats. Amelia has come so far in learning to trust us.

Kittens, Hermione, William, Leonardo, Percy and Chester are Amelia's half-siblings. Chester and Percy have been rehomed with a family near Louisburgh. Sabine, who is with her kittens at a foster home, is another half-sibling as is Julius Binx who comes every night for dinner and has kennel and shed shelter -domestic life wasn't for him. Austy is at another home and has a kennel, shed and two families feeding him. Another 2 went to a farm with shelter and food provided. There are still 4 more, including mother cat 🐈. It's challenging trapping these cats as they are now wary. But the guy trapping is working to get all of them to safer locations where they are appreciated.

Benjamin ... gorgeous playful, lively and affectionate kitten. Approximately 12 weeks old. Ready for a forever home.

He was found by straying in streets in Limerick. No owner has come forward. He has had a vet consultation and Limerick Animal Welfare cattery is completely full of kittens and stray cats so fostering is the only option.

If anyone can give Benjamin a home 🏡 forever or can foster him, please get in touch.

Further to the post about Jemima.... This is Jemima and her last kitten Harry. He is about 14 weeks old, the other kittens have gone to really good homes and loving life. We were going to keep Harry and happy to have him but our house is getting fuller by the day !! So if anybody could give a home to mum or Harry or together even better. Jemima loves an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Harry is going outside on the harness and loving it. He is very friendly, loves other cats and playing.

Here's a lovely little family of black cats. Mamma cat, Martha and her 4 little kittens. 2 male, 2 female. Looking for their forever home. Can be separated. Martha is probably going back to her mum and grandma as an outdoor cat, but if anybody would like to take her into their hearts she would be delighted. The kittens are about 8 weeks old. Please contact us for further information.
Foster homes are always needed if anybody interested in helping out our feline friends.
Also, if you are not in a position to foster or rehome, contributions to veterinary care etc is always gratefully received, as all the work the rescues do is voluntary.

This is Peter.
He is about 9 months old, neutered male, with a glossy black coat with a little speck of white on his chest.
When he came to his foster home he was very timid with humans but he now enjoys strokes. He has never hissed or scratched, even when he was shy and nervous. He loves the company of other cats and kittens, very gentle and affectionate. His favourite pastime is playing, chasing toys, anything that moves.
Peter would love a home with other cats and probably an indoor cat until he is settled. He is very sweet natured and will make a lovely pet.

This is Jemima. She came to Louisburgh kitten support in March, heavily pregnant. She had 4 kittens but had to have an emergency caesarean, in the midst of delivery. We believe she had 2 more litters before this. She has now been neutered and ready to be adopted into her forever home.
She is very friendly and loves attention. She was an outside cat and goes in and out in her foster home, but never strays far.
She is still with her last kitten, who sneaks little feeds from mum, and she has accepted 2 other kittens who also feed from her.
She has done such a great job raring her kittens, she now deserves a lovely home where she can come enjoy a bit of "me" time.
Loves her food, has a little play, not scared of other cats, we haven't seen her with dogs so not sure how she would be, but she's not timid so probably be ok.
