2nd place overall in the Junior Novice class at the National Championship 2022 in Barnadown and a 1st in one of the classes.
Leah and Missy put in so much work into this, all summer long, every evening after school, after hockey training... Leah's commitment is huge and she has so much energy!
So proud of our Leezie, looking forward to plenty more days out with this pair.

Newbridge College Junior Cup team take on Roscrea in the first round of the 2022 Leinster Schools Junior Cup. Kick Off is at 1.30pm in Energia Park tomorrow, Monday 28th Feb.

We are very proud to say that 14 of the 30 man squad played with our mini's or youths. Many started with our Minis when they were just 6 or 7 years old and played all the way through to youths. It's great to see them all develop into such fantastic players, helping to inspire younger club members to play rugby.

Best of Luck to Mark, Jamie B., Odhran, Vaughan, Donacha , Robert, Dan, Ben, Eoin, Thomas D., Rory, Thomas F., Ross, Jamie H. and all the squad.

Our new Lely Calm computerised calf feeder is fitted.🎊 We've had the training on how to use it 👨‍🏫👩‍🏫. Now we're just waiting on the first calves of the class of 2022 to arrive🐄
This is a big investment for us we started rearing our first calves in 2012 when my Dad gave us 5 Hereford calves and we bought 5 more off him. Last year we reared over 100 Hereford and Angus calves, so in celebration of 10 years of calf rearing we upgraded from the trusty bucket.
Fingers crossed it all goes well 🙏

Egg with no shell 🐔🥚

Stella, is one of our original crew of battery hens that started us off. She was getting bullied so now she just roams around the yard on her own. The others are under lights to keep them laying but not Stella. She can't be found some evenings at bedtime🤔
With the shorter days she's stopping laying and today we got an egg with no shell, apparently it's a sure sign that she's shutting up shop for the winter.....everyday is a school day here 😊

The Cox girls headed to the National Sports Arena yesterday, where we came 3rd 🥳🤩🏆
Misty was just a legend again, hasn't touched a pole throughout the league. From 3 outings we've had a 2nd and two 3rd's.

She's just so sweet🥰, keeping me out of trouble when I don't see a stride 🙉
Brilliant fun, thanks to Rathfarmhan riding club for hosting.

And huge thanks to lovely who keeps pushing us to get going 🤩

We'd like to introduce you to the new girls in Paddy's life.

Rhode Island Reds who are just lovely and full of character, they're the adventurous ones.

Marsbars ( i kid you not, they're a hybrid of a Legbar and Maran). Are the ones working the black and white very fashionable monochrome look.

The Leghorns are the white ones, they're very flighty.
And the Skyline are the ones with different colours of brown in them, they're wild and we keep finding escapees.

Our white eggs are from our Leghorns and the green and blue are from the Skylines and Marsbars.

Our first time at a National Dressage Championship and Leah and Missy came away with a 3rd in the Prelim and a 6th in the Novice.

It's been a whirlwind since the fabulous Missy arrived to us from lovely in April, trying to get used to each other and to get to enough shows to get qualified because of Covid.

Huge thanks to Gene Halpenny for all the time, advice and coaching.

And thanks to Dressage Ireland and all the volunteers for a great show.
